Absolutely chill and pristine homestay with an amazing view of Golpahar in Mirik, conveniently located near the main road in Golpahar. We went on a backpacking trip and got down on the main road, then walked about 10 minutes downhill to reach the homestay. I wouldn’t recommend this if you have a lot of luggage, but for backpackers, it’s perfect! The hosts were incredibly warm and took great care of us during our two-day stay. They offered amenities like a bonfire and barbecue at very reasonable prices, adding to the cozy experience. People who love pets will absolutely adore it here! There are lots of dogs and cats at the homestay and around the property. Some of them even show up at different times of the day, adding to the homely vibe. The only suggestion I have is to improve the availability of normal or hot water, as it’s a basic necessity, we had to request it the first time and on most occasions. A lovely gesture was when they offered to carry our luggage uphill during our return. Such thoughtful hosts! Overall, a fantastic experience. Would definitely recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a serene and welcoming stay in Mirik.
