We had a wonderful and memorable 2-day stay at Sriyasi Homestay in Sittong, Darjeeling. The hospitality of Mr. Samir ji and his family was truly heartwarming – they welcomed us like their own and made us feel at home throughout our stay. The food was delicious, homely, and prepared with so much love. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxing amidst nature. A special mention to 11 years old little Shyeash, the sweetest boy who stole our hearts with his innocence and charm. He also became our little local guide, showing us around with so much enthusiasm – an experience we will always cherish. If you are looking for a cozy homestay with genuine hospitality, warm people, and unforgettable memories, I highly recommend Sriyasi Homestay. We are carrying back so many beautiful memories and will definitely come back again. 🌿✨

Sriyashi homestay is the best homestay in Shittong . As we know, everyone likes to enjoy their trip with some familiar atmosphere. For this the Sriyashi homestay is the best option. Owner Samir bhaiya is also so good as a human being. Everyone including Shreyas, bhabiji, Uncle and aunty is very enjoyable. Me and my family spent our best days in Sriyashi homestay. ❤️

The accomodation was comfortable, the food homely and the hosts incredibly warm and hospitable and as a first time homestay experience, we had a great time. Will definitely recommend and want to return to again.

I’ve stayed at a few other homestays in this area before, but none have come close to the warmth and authenticity of this one. What sets this place apart is that it’s not just a business run by staff—it’s a home, lovingly managed by Mr. Samir and his family. They have two rooms with the best views of the valley, making mornings especially magical. The rooms and beds were regularly cleaned, and the bathrooms were spotless and well-maintained, with hot water available at all times. Mr. Samir was incredibly attentive, always checking in to see if I needed anything. His personal involvement made me feel truly welcomed and cared for. His son Shreyas added an extra charm to the stay—he’s a fantastic singer and a wonderful entertainer. One of the biggest highlights was the food. Meals are prepared using fresh organic vegetables straight from their garden. Mr. Samir’s wife cooks with such care and skill—the food was simply delicious and full of authentic flavors. If you're looking for a stay that offers not just comfort, but genuine hospitality and a family touch, this is the place. I left feeling like a part of the family, and I can’t wait to return.
