⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a lovely stay at Dear Hill Homestay, Takdah. The hospitality by Bikash da was exceptional and made us feel right at home. The highlight of our stay was the delicious local homemade cuisine, which was authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. A perfect place to experience the beauty and warmth of the hills. Highly recommended!

The service of this homestay is the best. Hosts were really nice and very lovable to us. They are very friendly and you will think you have been knowing them since years. The foods that were provided by them were very nice and of very good quality. The rooms and washrooms were also clean. There is seriously no complaint about their hospitality and their behaviour. In one word, the homestay is really felt like home.

Perfectly located just about an hour from Darjeeling, this homestay is a gem. Bhaia and Bhabhi are incredibly warm and welcoming, making the stay feel like home. The food is delicious, rooms are clean and comfortable, and the terrace view is absolutely beautiful. Last but not the least, their little traditional ritual on the final day made it even more special and emotional. Will definitely visit again!

Very neat & clean & well decorated with many orchids. The local authentic food is very tasty & awesome. Must Try Tea(locally manufactured), Momo, Gorkha Chatni with Roti. Bhaiya & Bhabi is very good, shared many local things & culture.

The view from the property is straight out of a postcard — clouds drifting between the hills, golden sunsets, and peaceful mountain mornings. 🌄 The rooms were clean, cozy, and perfectly maintained, giving us a real “home away from home” feeling. We have stayed at Dear Hill homestay from 26 th may to 29 th may 2025, the view from balcony is amazing,and owner Mr Pradhan ji and his wife’s behaviour is excellent ,we feel like our own family is here , Food , service,room condition is also excellent ,tinchule and orchid garden is in walking distance,and you can reach Darjeeling also from here within 1.30 hr to 2 hr by a car.very nice location.
