Kamal’s Homestay

Room as well as the food was good but the staffs' behaviour was not good. The owner was humble but the staffs' were arrogant. It seemed as if they were not willing to work at all.

I have Booked this Homestay but later on some medical emergency unable to go there and reschedule it but finally I am unable to go and call the owner to discuss about my problem. Then the owner confirm me to book it later within 1 year ol but when I call him on August for booking he completely denied and also refuse to return my booking amount by showing his terms and conditions. So tourist from different part of Indian don’t come here this is a completely fraud .

We stayed at Kamal's Homestay in Sittong and overall had a good experience. The location is truly beautiful, situated amidst lush tea gardens, offering a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. The owner and staff members were very humble, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The service was excellent, and they genuinely cared about the comfort of their guests. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. Every meal was delicious and felt just like home-cooked food, fresh, comforting, and prepared with care. We thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality and the warmth with which we were served. However, since we visited during the rainy season, we faced an issue with insects and millipede-like creatures entering the room. They were present on the floor, bed, and even coming through the ceiling at times. Unfortunately, this made it difficult for us to sleep comfortably that night. That said, we would like to appreciate the owner and staff for their prompt response and support. They genuinely tried their best to help us and even offered to arrange accommodation elsewhere. We understand that this is a seasonal challenge due to the homestay's unique location in the middle of a tea garden. Despite this issue, the hospitality, food, and service were exceptional, and we truly appreciate the efforts made by the team to ensure our comfort.

Staying at Kamal’s Homestay was an incredibly memorable experience, defined by its staggering altitude and breathtaking natural beauty. The property sits on a massive piece of land, offering a huge area to walk around, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and completely disconnect from the chaos of daily life. The absolute highlight of this stay is the view. Looking out onto the rolling, lush green tea estate from such a high vantage point is nothing short of magical. Because of the high altitude, you get a front-row seat to a spectacular play of clouds. One minute you are looking at a clear, stunning landscape, and the next, dramatic waves of mist roll right into the property, enveloping everything in a dreamy, surreal fog. The rooms here are massive—unusually spacious for a mountain homestay—and kept impeccably clean. The property also features an amazing, beautifully designed dining area that serves as a wonderful social hub, perfect for warming up after a chilly day. My only minor critique would be the food. Given the price point, the menu lacks variety and options can feel a bit limited. However, if you are coming here for the sheer scale of the property, the pristine cleanliness, the massive rooms, and a view that will stay with you forever, Kamal’s Homestay is an absolute gem.

Highly recommonded.We had a great experience. The owner and family all are very polite and co operative. Whatever we wanted( within their capacity) they have provided us. The location is absolutely scenic. The food was great. In a sentence it was a mind blowing experience. Surely we will visit again.

Recently visited and we had such a lovely and memorable stay at this homestay! The rooms were spotless, cozy, and beautifully maintained—perfect for relaxing after a long day. The food was an absolute highlight—fresh, homely, and incredibly delicious, and the tea was just perfect . What made the experience truly special was the heartfelt hospitality. The hosts were so warm, caring, and attentive—they made us feel completely at home. If you’re visiting the area, I would highly recommend staying here. It’s the kind of place that makes your trip extra special. Would definitely love to come back again!
