Pine tree homestay is the best place in Upper Sittong to accommodate whenever you visit Sittong...
Hospitality, hygiene, food, kanchanjangha view is just amazing, small bazar nearby where you get everything organic, Gorkha's traditional and cultural things for you to take as a souvenir for your friends, relatives and home decoration.
Nice
The rooms were cozy with a great view up front. Food was satisfactory with generous portion sizes. A karaoke session was also provided complemented by a bonfire and grilled chicken. Given the limited evening activities, this gathering was highly engaging and enjoyable. Service provided was also commendable. A good place for a relaxed holiday amidst nature. Would definitely love to visit again!
🌲 "Pine Tree" Homestay made our Shittong trip memorable.. Beautiful views, great service and the overall atmosphere felt very peaceful.. A special thanks to Subham da for his friendly and warm behaviour, which made our stay even more comfortable🤝.. The music, singing and dance at night added a magical touch to the stay 🎶 ..Thank you for such lovely memories.. Highly recommended!! ☺️
The food was amazing, both in quantity and quality. Great view, great hospitality, and it was so peaceful outside. I'd love to come back here!
A Unique Gem in North Bengal! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Pine Tree Homestay in Shittong is hands down the most unique and incredible homestay in all of North Bengal!
The views of Mt. Kanchenjunga and the surrounding valleys are absolutely breathtaking, perfectly complemented by a serene and peaceful ambience. The rooms are spotless, incredibly cozy, and feature large windows to soak in the scenery. Every meal was a delight—the home-cooked food was fresh, authentic, and piping hot.
What truly sets this place apart is the heartwarming hospitality. The hosts and staff are extremely polite, attentive, and go out of their way to make you feel like family. If you are looking for the perfect mountain escape, look no further. Highly recommended!
Very bad experience. 👎 Room and washroom was dirty. I paid 10,000 at the time of booking. When I subsequently visited Pine Tree Homes, the manager there informed me that they had not received any payment. The person responsible for handling payments is not answering their phone.2days booking there only one night stay then pine tree manager told me 2 days full payment. This is a bad condition roomer, one night stay. Roomer is too small. Insects and spiders in the room.staff behavior is very bad. It doesn't deserve even a single star.Too much pathetic experience, pine tree home stay in Sittong.
Very good service as well as very good behavior of all the staff and especially Subham
All services very good
Recently visited Sittong and stayed at this Homestay, recommended by a friend—turned out to be an amazing choice. The location is beautiful, and you can enjoy a stunning view of Kangchenjunga right from the terrace.
Rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The management was very helpful—they arranged a driver for our pickup, drop, and sightseeing(extra cost ofcourse) , which made everything hassle-free. We reached early around 7 AM, and they kindly served us chai and Maggi, which we really appreciated.
We stayed for 3 days, and all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, plus evening snacks) were delicious and homely. The staff was extremely polite and always ready to help with anything we needed.
They also have arrangements of a bonfire with a singer in the evening, which made our stay even more fun—we danced and enjoyed a lot.
Overall, everything about this homestay was perfect. Highly recommended for a peaceful and comfortable stay!
It was a really good and cozy place to stay in the nature. Thanks to David, my parents had a really great time there
Best home stay in sittong great view of kanchenjunga and behaviours of manager subham very nice helpfull person over all verry good...
Very recently I stayed in the 'Pine Tree home stay' at Shittong - I with my family. It was a marvellous experience for staying in the property with good ambience, hospitality and fascinating scenic beauty. It is possible to have a clear, dreamy view of the Kanchenjunga, if the weather is clear. The owner of the property Mr Rahul is a perfect gentleman and caring. The behaviour of the staff Suvam, Nitesh & Diya was very good and were very much responsible, polite & helpful ... specially Mr Suvam, the Manager cum all-rounder. The variety of food served were fresh, delicious and tasty.
I recommend everyone who wants to visit Sittong in the future to stay at this homestay.

Good experience
Very very bad food. Cooking is not upto the mark. Location is not satisfactory. Road is horrible. My suggestion not come here until unless road is repaired.
My experience it's not homestay. Homestay defination is "A homestay is a type of lodging where travelers stay in a local's home, offering a chance to experience authentic culture and daily life, often with shared meals, personal guidance, and a family-like environment, differing from hotels by emphasizing cultural exchange over commercialization".
Best homestay i ever visited...... very nice and honest people...... very sweet gestures they shown to me........they are the sweetest people.....service was on point...... rooms were extremely neat and clean....
You can see the kanchanjunga peak clearly straight from your room...
And at evening there was tea and pakoda service with bonfire and a sweet concert
Great experience .. great food .. great room .. great service as well as great view .. all thanks to subham da ❤️ for his service ..
What a beautiful location ! Staff are nice and food is also good. Breakfast, lunch, evening coffee and snacks and dinner, all were tasty and on time. Had a wonderful experience in the evening round the bonfire with a local singer named Avhinash Loksommoo Lepcha singing soulful songs. If you're in Sittong, you can stay there without any hesitation.
Awsm experience it was 🥰....best HOMESTAY in Sittong ..
