I had a wonderful experience at Dilpali Homestay. The property is located in a beautiful and peaceful setting, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
The owner, Sunam, is a genuinely kind and welcoming person who goes out of his way to help guests experience the local culture, traditions, and food in the best possible way. His warm hospitality made my stay even more memorable.
A special mention goes to Bhaoju, who prepared some of the most delicious and authentic Nepali food I have ever tasted. Every meal felt homemade and full of local flavor.
If you want to experience the true culture, hospitality, and cuisine of Nepal, I highly recommend choosing Dilpali Homestay.
Not well maintained
I am from Darjeeling hills, Have been to many Homestays and I must this is the worst homestay I have been in my entire region. Forget hospitality owners don't even have basic manners how to speak as person. He looks junky and behave the same, very aggressive and greedy. He also refused to minus the the advance of 1000 which we paid earlier. When asked for refund he claimed that we broke his four glasses that even if we're true would cost less than 400. Better other Homestays in this area there are lots.
Dipali Homestay in Pokhriabong is a hidden gem for anyone seeking peace and comfort away from the chaos of town life. The wooden cottages are beautifully made, giving the place a warm and rustic charm.
The food was homely, organic, and absolutely delicious, every meal felt like it was cooked with care. Mornings here are special. The sun hits just right, filling the place with a calm glow, and the morning coffee was surprisingly professional and truly enjoyable.
The lush garden and generous lawn space are very impressive, perfect for relaxing and spending quality time outdoors. Late night bonfires and BBQ sessions were the best experiences, creating unforgettable moments under the open sky.
Despite being located far from town, the location is absolutely worth it. Peaceful, quiet, and far away from noise. The owner’s hospitality deserves a special mention. We never felt like we were away from home.
Parking was never an issue, as all six of our cars were safely accommodated within the homestay premises.
Overall, Dipali Homestay offers warmth, serenity, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended for those looking to reconnect with nature and themselves.
Mr.Suman and team's hospitality, it can't be expressed in words. For that you have to stay there and experience it. That's all I can say.
We were group of 8, we went for the new years party and it was amazing. The property is beautiful and is managed by host Mr. Suman he was the best host i have ever come across. It was a bit of a task to reach the place due to bad road condition but it was absolutely worth it. The four room set up is absolutely perfect for someone looking to have a small get together. Mr Suman is a warm and welcoming gentleman and is a wonderful human being. I hope you experience the homestay’s vibes atleast once.
Although it is a task to reach the place by road, the location of the estate and the ambience certainly ended up surprising us very pleasantly. The hospitality so good that it would compel to stay there for more days with an urge of visiting the place again. The people, the staffs, everyone out there is just so well behaved. A must visit place to live with peace. Dilpali Homestay just rocks!!! ❤️
