Found a home in the mountains at Sittong Hillstay
Sittong Hillstay is hands down the best homestay you can find. The rooms are incredibly cozy and beautiful, but the real magic is the mesmerizing view from the window and balcony. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality—it feels exactly like home. 💗💗 Rajesh Dada and Martha Didi are such sweet souls. To top it off, Rajesh Dada’s singing at night adds an extra layer of charm to the experience, making you feel perfectly at peace in the lap of the mountains.

Honestly speaking there are much better homestays for the same price as this with better locations,unless u have no other options left it's wise to skip this one.

The place is good but the homestay did not meet up to our expectations. It is located in Sittong 1, which is the lowest. Highest area of sittong is Sittong 3. Service is also delayed and not satisfactory. The service provide by the people of sittong is extremely good but this homestay should not be in your bucket list.
There are three parts of sittong. Sittong 1,2 and 3. This place is located at sittong 1 which is the lowest. Service is not good, all kinds of service are delayed. We got dinner at almost 11:00 pm. Overall, bad experience. Place is undoubtedly good but the homestay in not up to the mark.

My stay at this homestay was truly homely... It has a lot of warmth... All the meals, behavior was great.. The owner Mr Mukherjee was very helpful both guiding us to reach the property and with other help and requirements (though he was not physically present there). The view from this place is awesome and a very good reason to visit here again and again.. The barbecue in the evening was also quite enjoyable with music and hot tea...
The 2 cons that I would mention are-
If you are coming during monsoon or after rain, the rooms will be full of insects( but only at night). A girl named Martha was sweet enough to take care of that but still it was there. And the second is that if you are travelling on a big van like winger, you would have to take a long long route to reach here. And there are no shops or anything nearby. So depend on the homestay for everything after evening.
While leaving, the chef Rajesh and Martha gave us a traditional satin stoll as a symbol of respect. It was a wonderful and memorable gesture.
