This place felt like a quiet dream. Tucked between rolling tea gardens and silent mountains, with the Rangbhang river flowing gently right across. This homestay is the kind of peaceful you don’t realize you needed until you’re in it. At night, you can hear the river and the soft crackle of fireflies. The air feels slower here - soothing. The people at the homestay welcomed us like we were coming home. We shared meals, stories, and laughter. They have a little nursery, and when I was leaving, the owner gave me a flower from their garden as a gift. That small gesture will stay with me for a long time. There are three friendly dogs, and a cat named Kadi who stole my heart. She’s affectionate, friendly, and followed me around like an old friend. The place is pet-friendly as well. One afternoon, they took us on a "joyride" - a jeep ride through tea estates and winding mountain roads, roof down, breeze in my hair, like something out of a movie. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home in the lap of nature, come here. It’s more than a stay, it’s a feeling you’ll carry back with you. 10/10 recommended. Would definitely love to come back here again.

Surrounded by nature, the views are breathtaking—riverside charm, blooming flowers, and even honey bee farming add to its rustic appeal. We stayed there for 3 nights (25.05.25-27.05.25), and to be very honest perhaps this is our best experience of staying in a homestay in terms of the warm hospitality and service that we received from every member of the family and staff. Apart from that, the location was excellent. A beautiful homestay amidst blooming flowers and a well maintained garden, a scenic mountain backdrop, a beautiful serene river flowing right beside the homestay and a trail amidst the tea gardens made the stay truly amazing. Specially if you are looking for an offbeat stay in Tabakoshi, Manokamana Homestay will be the best choice without any doubt. Our entire family will forever be grateful to you for making our stay so memorable. Best wishes. Hope to visit you again 😊 P.S. Special thanks to Ashwiti for turning the evening into a musical bliss! 🤗
