Excellent service and outstanding quality food. Sujay, Jojo, and Bhawju were exceptional hosts who made the experience truly enjoyable. Their warm hospitality and attentive service made my visit memorable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food, excellent service, and great value. What an amazing stay absolutely out of expectations, never experienced such a homely feeling at any other homestay ever before. My one year old son literally fell in love with Sujay and Bijata , no words do describe everything is absolutely Amazing
No words to express, one of the best among several, this one is our final destination in Darjeeling and Mirik valley love you Sujay da and Bijata di found another home at Solay More.
Outstanding in one word 😄😄😄
Should have rated 10 if it was possible
A must visit for nature lover. What a poetic atmosphere! Come and feel the nature and feel yourself.
Our stay at Stone and Pine Farmstay was truly unforgettable. I went there to celebrate my birthday with my mom and sister, and this was actually our second time visiting. From the moment we arrived, Sujay and Bijata made us feel completely at home with their warmth and kindness. Bijata’s cooking was simply wonderful — each meal felt like it was made with love, comforting and so delicious, just like home-cooked food.
The location itself is breathtaking, with stunning views that calm the soul and refresh the spirit. But what really made the experience special was the way Sujay and Bijata hosted us — every little detail felt thoughtful and genuine, making our time there deeply memorable.
Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking peace, beauty, and the warmth of truly caring hosts.
I stayed in this resort for 2 days and I cannot tell you what I experienced. The location is so beautiful that there is no comparison to it. The place is so clean that there is no tension. The behavior of the owner is so good that there is no tension. The food you get is like home-made food, completely organic. If you want to enjoy life in the jungle, then come here. The owner brother and sister-in-law take complete care of you and your family. The room is very beautiful. The entire room is made of stone and pine wood

I am in love with Mirik just because of stones and pines farm stay. I have fallen in love with Sujoy da who is jst like an elder brother and vijayata an adorable sister. We can say we found a family away from a family. Their hospitality jst melted our heart and the place where their cottages are magnificent. The food vijayata cooked for us were organic, healthy, delicious.
We were only gal gang there so Sujoy da was there like a big brother helping us with the travelling and exploring the place. I can say Its my home away from home♥️ this was my third visit in two months! Beautiful and quiet location . Calm and peaceful environment and perfect for those that want to spend some time in tranquil. The host Sujoy is always ready to do everything that makes our stay memorable and his wife Bijeta is super fun and sweet to have around and oh what yummy food she cooks! Loved every moment i spent here and always looking forward to have more!
Soley More! A perfect place to enjoy the natural beauty of North Bengal along with Nepal. As it's sharing a boundary with Nepal, you can visit Nepal and experience Nepali traditions. I was there for 5 days. An additional advantage is they have a good Wi-Fi connection, which allows you to work from there, which I did.
Sujoy ji is an excellent host and equally supported by his wife. I was lucky enough to spend the entire time with them and be a part of their family members. As I visited in the time of 'Laxmi puja' and 'Bhai phota', I was lucky and blessed to experience those in their sister houses, just like a younger brother. For that entire duration I, along with Sujoy ji, covered many parts of the village, Nepal, etc. And evening times mostly spent with Sujoy ji and her wife discussing and sharing our journey. Also, I must appreciate the way he has built his cottage with pines and stones with excellent architecture on his own.
To summarise, if you are someone who loves to spend time with nature away from crowds in peaceful places with breathtaking night views, go for it. You won't regret it.

After staying at several homestays, I finally discovered a true gem at Solay More on the Mirik-Pashupati Highway. This was my second visit within the same month, and I can confidently say The Stone and Pine is nothing short of a hidden paradise.
My girlfriend and I stayed in the Top Cottage a cozy secluded spot with the best view imaginable.
The owner Sujay, is a warm hearted and passionate host who goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and even guides them around the area to explore. His wife Bejita, is a fantastic cook who serves up an impressive variety of dishes, we especially loved the authentic Nepali cuisine and of course the delicious momos.
And we can’t forget Fedo, their charming dog! If you're a dog lover, you're in for a treat. Can’t wait for our third visit!
The host and hostess are very good people and thereby, naturally, the quality of everything relevant is really good.
Apart from that, the location is unique, nestled in the India-Nepal border. Pashupati is very close and the travelling experience to and from is quite fun, in a sense.
Worth the time and expense, augmented by the peaceful melancholia!!
It was such a great experience with a spectacular view and hospitality received from the homestay. It is indeed an off beat place which has a wonderful view from the rooms. Pleasant weather, tasty and homely food and generosity made it best.
The homestay was just a bit down the road but, the view from the homestay, was spectacular. It was so pretty that we clicked more than 70 photos. The owner of the homestay and his wife were very kind and it was extremely fun to spend our holiday with them. The food was also very good. Most of the things we ate, were organic which made us feel really healthy and hearty. There's a badminton court where we played badminton and inside the homestay, we were offered with several kinds of games along with the availability of free wifi. Overall, it was a great experience for us to stay in the beautiful mountains. Thank you.
