Fantastic

I am hereby sharing my horrendous experience staying at this property. The owner initially pretends to be extremely friendly pre booking but do not fall for it as the other side of the story is completely different. I stayed there with family for two days. They didn't inform us what was included in details, which was necessary, in the package that costed about 1800-2000 (quite high compared to others). At the time of booking they had promised to adjust the prices of meals skipped during travel and all. During our travel we missed one breakfast and lunch, which we did from outside and we ordered two plates of non veg snacks INSTEAD of the regular snacks (that was included). THE STAFFS EVEN AFTER KNOWING THE WHOLE STORY KEPT SILENT ALL THE TIME. On the day of checkout, we were asked to pay the whole damn package money, on inquiring the owner, his tone changed to " Our policy has changed one month back , now everything is chargeable" . We had booked 3 months before now if ur policy has changed who the hell is responsible to inform us. They didn't even serve the snacks what was included and on top of that charged extra ₹400 per plate and the quality was total scrap... They expect of growing their business by performing daylight robbery. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL FROM THE OWNER AND STAFFS.

Very good property in Kurseong. Rooms are clean and well decorated. Service is very punctual. The staff(Papai Da) is well supportive . And the location is heaven.. loved it.

Our stay at this hotel in Kurseong was extremely disappointing. The overall experience was far from what we expected. The food quantity was never enough, and the service was completely unprofessional. Even after repeatedly asking for basic things like drinking water and room freshener, no one bothered to provide them. The staff seemed careless and uninterested in helping guests. Meals were never served on time, and when they finally arrived, the food was often cold, tasteless, and insufficient for everyone. It was clear that there was a shortage of food and poor management in the kitchen. The room itself was not properly cleaned, with dust and stains visible on the furniture and bedsheets. The bathroom was equally unhygienic — the geyser (water heating machine) wasn’t working, so we had to use cold water in such a cold place. There was no proper room service or maintenance, and the staff didn’t seem to care about guest comfort at all. Overall, this hotel lacks basic hospitality, cleanliness, and management. I would definitely not recommend anyone to stay here unless they improve their services drastically.

I had an extremely disappointing stay at Tea Nest Homestay in Kurseong. From the moment I arrived, the place felt completely mismanaged and unwelcoming. The rooms were poorly maintained, not clean, and far from what was promised. Basic facilities were missing, and even the ones that were available didn’t function properly. The service was equally bad. The hosts were indifferent and showed no sense of hospitality. Instead of making guests feel comfortable, they seemed careless and unhelpful. Food quality was terrible, with limited options and no effort to maintain hygiene or taste. What made things worse was the overall atmosphere – uncomfortable, unclean, and absolutely not worth the money charged. It was a frustrating and unpleasant experience that ruined what should have been a peaceful stay in the hills. I would strongly advise against staying at Tea Nest Homestay. There are far better options in Kurseong where you will actually get value for your money and a welcoming experience.

Our experience was really good. Service was good.

Worst experience ever. Staffs started threatening us and didn’t feel safe at all. Had a powercut whole night and everything was so expensive totally worthless. Only good thing was the view but it also felt worthless for the overall experience. They keep deleting the original reviews so plz dont visit as its unsafe for females specially.

Very bad experience with no electricity for the whole night and staffs behaviour very bad and we were travelling with females friend and they directly threatened us when we complained about the powercut. Food was okayish but very high price for nothing. They always delete the real true comments and only keeps the sugarcoated ones

Room are ok but lack of maintenance and cleanliness. Full of bug at night. No mosquito repellents given when asked for. Food served very slow due to shortage of manpower. At night only chicken with little gravy, dry vaji given with rice without dal or anything else. So next day we skipped lunch there and had lunch in Kurseong diaries and asked them to serve the sabji or egg at night along with chicken sothat we could finish whole rice but they refused to do so though they have fridge. When you have taken money for both lunch and dinner and anybody ask you to serve the sabji or egg at night that should be considered. How anyone can eat whole rice with one chicken gravy which is very small in quantity. Location is only good. I feel not worth of staying with child since full of bug flies without any repellents and big problem is spiral staircase. In other homestay they offered us 2 sabji dal, fries, rice chicken/egg with chatni papad. But here food and service is up to tha mark. No cleanliness, water dropping in dinning area all the day. We repent for 2 days booking here after coming from an awesome experience at Gufapatal homestay.

Overall experience was very good.Food and room were very good.Only problem with stairs is for elderly person.

Location & Rooms: According to the location , If you are looking for a low crowded area along with the Mountain view , then it's the best option for a stay. All rooms are very cozy with all modern amenities . It's been 5 to 7 mins away from Kurseong station by car. Service : Now coming to service part , Owner, homestay staffs are very friendly. Foods are very tasty with an authentic bengali taste. On our request , the Owner has specially arranged Boroli Fish curry for us. Note : If Aged persons are with you, then it's advised to stay in the upper rooms as it's been a little bit tricky for them .I mean they have spiral downstaircase. According to the price it's been very budget friendly .

Disgusting service and disgusting management. Horrible food quality, food taste is too bad. Service quality is too poor. They refused to do anything you are requested for. Disappointed. Not recommended for anyone.
