Perfect Homestay Hotel. Very well service and privacy maintained.

I had a pleasant stay at Pahari Soul Hotel in Darjeeling. The staff were courteous, responsive, and provided good service throughout my stay. One of the biggest advantages was that scooty rentals were available directly through the hotel, which made exploring Darjeeling very convenient. The views from the hotel were amazing and definitely one of the highlights of the stay. Although the hotel is a little far from Mall Road, most other popular tourist attractions were within 10 km, so getting around wasn’t difficult. The only downside was that the geyser in my room was not working, which was a bit inconvenient. Apart from that, everything else was good, and I had a comfortable experience overall. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful stay with beautiful views and good service.

We stayed here for 3n/4d during the month of June. As we reached we had luggage no one came for help with our bags. We had to climb a steep road to go to the homestay. We called them they said they are busy. It was a family room, as we entered the room the giser wasn't working had to call for assistance. The floor became damp with water all the time, which resulted in our clothes and everything becoming wet for no reason. Food is too costly 200+ rs for just veg thali and service is bad. Do not opt for this place. I know the owner will reply to this with come excuse. Please don't stay here. Bad experience overall.

A perfect place to stay . Peoples are very well behaved and very active. Every room has the balcony . And the view from the balcony is mind blowing. You lost yourself while watching the view. Kanchanjunga is visible from the balcony. I love this home stay . I suggest everyone please visit.

We had a wonderful stay at Pahari Soul, Darjeeling. The location and views are beautiful with a perfect mountain atmosphere all around. Although the weather was cloudy and we could not see Kanchenjunga clearly, the foggy mornings, rain, clouds and amazing night views of Darjeeling made the experience truly memorable. The food was very tasty and felt quite different from what we usually have in Kolkata in a very good way. The hospitality and service were excellent throughout our stay and everyone was very polite and helpful. Overall, it was a peaceful and memorable experience and we would definitely recommend Pahari Soul for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Darjeeling.

Good hotel

Pahari Soul has been a personal favourite for an awesome budget stay for the past 10 years and counting, and they have only improved over the years. Shoyeta and her team run a fantastic show and services on offer are at par with the rates that are always quoted. Rooms are neatly done up with the basic necessities and on a clear day, the view of the majestic Kanchenjungha and the entire Sleeping Budhha range of peaks is mind-blowing. Parking for bikes and a couple of cars (in informed in advance) are always available. Cleanliness is good, electricity and wi-fi can be a tad bit erratic at times due to bad weather but nothing that is not manageable. Food is always freshly cooked and delectable. Mind you, this is a budget homestay, so if you are expecting top notch luxury and a wide variety of food options, this place is not for you. However, if you are looking for a bang-on-the-bucks stay and wish to enjoy the Kanchenjungha view, a mind blowing frontage of Darjeeling town and the Heritage Toy Train chugging through right under your balconies with absolutely palatable homely food at decent prices and the Dali taxi stand for a 10 minute shared taxi ride to Darjeeling Chowk Bazar market, then this homestay is nothing below heaven.

Hello, I stayed at your hotel recently and accidentally left behind a trouser and a hair clutcher in the room. I called to inquire, but I was disappointed by the response. It seemed no proper effort was made to check with housekeeping or search the room before saying it could not be found because a new guest had already arrived. I understand rooms turn over quickly, but I expected more care and professionalism regarding lost belongings. I would appreciate it if you could please recheck with housekeeping and the lost-and-found team once more. Thank you.

During our three-day stay at Pahari Soul, we encountered several issues that significantly affected our experience. Basic amenities such as washroom water were not provided proactively and had to be requested multiple times. Additionally, the behavior of the staff was inconsistent and at times unprofessional, with conflicting information given regarding access to the stairway door—one staff member stated it would remain open, while another mentioned it would be locked after 9:30 PM. Furthermore, the food quality did not meet expectations. We ordered veg Maggi, which was disappointing both in taste and portion size. Overall, our experience at the property was unsatisfactory. Also Guests are also required to carry their luggage up and down to the main road, as the property is located at a relatively elevated and less accessible area. The driver does not come up to the property, and unfortunately, no assistance is provided by the staff for handling luggage, which can be quite inconvenient for visitors. I stayed at Pahari Soul Homestay for around 6 days for work purposes, and unfortunately it turned out to be one of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve had. On the first two days we had food at the homestay, but after that the staff kept regularly bothering us multiple times a day asking us to pay the food bill immediately, even though we were still staying there for several more days. It felt very uncomfortable and unprofessional. They also kept demanding extra money before checkout, which made the situation even more unpleasant. The most disturbing incident happened late at night when a staff member who appeared to be drunk behaved inappropriately and entered our room without permission. This was a serious violation of privacy and made us feel extremely unsafe. For a place that calls itself a homestay, the level of hospitality and professionalism was extremely poor. Instead of feeling welcomed during a work trip, we constantly felt disturbed by the staff’s behavior. Overall, this experience completely ruined our stay in Darjeeling. I strongly advise travelers to be very cautious before booking this place, especially if you value privacy, safety, and respectful treatment.

Homely environment comfortable bed for sleeping you can have destiny views of kanchanjangha lovely friendly staff. Some times WiFi on and off but not big issues. I will visit here again

Overall a good place apart from 1-2 times power cut

Location is great, staffs are friendly, food is delicious and rooms are very comfortable. A little away form Darjeeling mall road but worth it for the view of the kanchenjunga from the rooms and balcony🫶🏻🫶🏻
