It was mesmerizing experience staying at russel homestay, darjeeling.I want to mention cordial behaviour of uncle and aunty who guided and supported us for a three days visit.I would also like to add the simple yet delicious food especially (paratha) .we really enjoyed the trip and the rooms basically room no 203.

Good accommodation featuring a beautiful mountain view, complemented by well-organized information, outstanding hospitality, and delicious food.

One of the best hotel stay experience for us at Russel. Very co operative and polite staff along with fantastic views from the hotel itself. Worth special mentioning is the food. My 2.7 year's daughter has enjoyed the food like anything and we were very comfortable letting her eat the same. Completely home cooked meal with no excess oil or spices which makes it very health friendly. Overall, to Mr Santosh Tamang, Thank You so much for making the stay such a fabulous and memorable piece of experience.

Nice and quiet place to stay with cozy room. Only food is not variety. This place is managed by an ex SI.

My stay at Russel Homestay was generally pleasant. I appreciated the quiet and clean environment, making it a solid choice for a relaxing experience. 😌 However, the bed wasn't as comfortable as I'd hoped. 🏡🛌✨

Happy to share my feedback about this beautiful stay at Dali, near Darjeeling. We spent three wonderful days here, and the experience was truly memorable. The people at the homestay are very kind, courteous, and always helpful. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained. We booked the Kanchanjunga view room (Room 203), and the clear view of Mount Kanchanjunga through the glass window was absolutely breathtaking. The homestay is located very close to Darjeeling (around 4 km) and also near Ghoom Station. Dali Monastery is just a short distance away, making the location very convenient and peaceful. We were completely satisfied with our stay, and the food was excellent—fresh, tasty, and homely. Just one small suggestion for the homestay owner: It would be very helpful if an electric kettle could be provided in every room, so guests can easily boil water when needed. Thank you for such a beautiful and comfortable experience. We would definitely love to visit again.

The owner is kind , the rooms are clean and smells good it's fancy and asthetic and finally the food is damn delicious

I was on a school trip with my sir and 10 of my friends it's a very cozy place, cheap and affordable. I recommend u staying here the owner and his family are very nice. And as a citizen of Jaiñtia hills the rice they served us taste like home. Thank you very much for this lovely experience. ❤️

Our stay at Russel Homestay in Darjeeling was easily the highest of our trip. The location is incredibly strategic, making it easy to cover all the prime spots like Mall road and Tiger Hill. It's utterly breakthtaking , surrounded by beautiful pine trees and providing great scenic views of the valley right from the property. However, the most memorable and defining feature of this homestay is the direct, unobstructed view of KANCHANJANGHA .The room itself was very clean and comfortable with Wifi and supply of 24 hrs hot water from the tap. Hosts are amazingly good and genuinely very polite and very helpful. Go for it without any hesitation. Thank you Tamang jee and his family members

Great homestay with stunning views of kanchenjunga right from your bed. Really clean, spacious and well maintained rooms with smart TV. Another great thing is that its located at very peaceful locality Very friendly hosts who also provide amazing home-cooked food with great service.

Staying at this homestay felt like staying with extended family. Santosh ji was a warm and welcoming host, always ready to help with a smile. The food served by Amrit ji and Mamta ji was not just tasty but made with genuine love — just like home. Their kindness, attention, and simplicity made our trip extra special. It is amazing budget friendly Homestay near Dali Monastery. Just don’t expect hotel like services and it is remote location esp at night .
