Fantastic homestay! It truly felt like a home away from home. The home-cooked breakfast and dinner were delicious, and Uncle and Aunty were incredibly kind, welcoming, and hospitable throughout our stay. They made us feel like family. I would definitely stay here again. 10/10—highly recommended!

An amazing experience! It felt just like staying with family. The homestay was wonderful, and the food was absolutely delicious. Even though I left at 6:30 a.m., they had thoughtfully prepared breakfast for me before I departed. Thank you so much for making me feel at home. I’ll always remember your kindness.

In may. 2026 from 20/22 we stay in this Home stay during darjiling visit.. And what to say about the host couple... Both of them are a true human being...and very charming.... staying with them is a out of world experience.....not for darjiling...but just to stay with them....you have to come once here.

I stayed here for a day right after a trek, and honestly, the place felt like home. Aunty and uncle were incredibly warm and made us feel so comfortable. They even provided hot water in a flask for the room and made sure the entire place was clean before calling it a night. The simple breakfast of bread and omelette truly gave me that homely feeling.

Pros: The rooms were spotless and well maintained, with a stunning view of the Kanchenjunga hills. The owner was extremely courteous and kind, and he kindly assisted us with arranging local transport as well as our journey to Siliguri. Cons: They didn't have electric kettle, room heater (though they have elector blanket) and complementary tea/coffee

We had a wonderful stay at Himalok home stay. The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food was delicious and prepared with love. The view of Kanchenjunga is magnificent. The rooms were comfortable and warm. We had fun at bibare gorkhay haat and we tried local delicacies. Next day, our local guide took us for shopping around Darj and we got some nifty clothes. The leather hub had some top notch collection of boots and I recommend all to go there. Over all it was ecstatic and we didn’t feel like leaving Darj. Hope to come and hang out with the family again ❤️❤️❤️

Himalok Homestay was one of the best places we stayed. Sagar and Sashi are fantastic hosts who made sure we were comfortable from the moment we arrived. The kindness and friendliness of the entire family really made our stay special. The food was outstanding, and we already miss both the delicious meals and our lovely room. Excellent homestay way to Darjeeling Mr Sagar and his family is an extremely helpful host. Had a pleasant stay for two days there with lovely homecook foods.
