We stayed here for a walking and touring holiday, it is such a friendly, clean and well finished hotel. |Food was really good, authentic flavours and delicious (cooked by the kitchen team that couldn't be more helpful!). |Lovely place to stay and great location for local sights.

Our stay at The Sherpa's Rest was wonderful. We had arranged for two drivers to collect us from Bagdogra Airport, and they safely brought us to Darjeeling and The Sherpa's Rest. The Hotel is incredibly well-appointed, with numerous lounge spaces, so some people could read, chat, or work on a jigsaw, and the woodburner was lit on some cooler evenings. The decor and furnishings are of a very high standard too. The dining room was set up for us with one long table (but it can be set up with individual tables instead). We were able to sit and eat as one group, and what was very special was that we could watch the cooks cook for us. The food was fresh, made from scratch and absolutely delicious - breakfast, lunch and supper. |The bedrooms need a special note, not only are they very well appointed and spacious, but they are also all en-suite with their own toilet, basin and shower. If it happens to be a cooler evening, the beds can be heated for you - luxury!|There is a wonderful roof terrace - a great place to relax in the sunshine (it has a roof too, should the weather not be so great). |All the hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and when we came in each day from our walking tours, a teapot was ready with freshly made tea!

This is a beautiful hotel which which we loved staying in. The food is excellent and very clean. Host is friendly and rooms are very clean and bed very comfortable. It is decorated with style and care. |Well situated for Darjeeling, local walls and wider sights. |Highly recommend
