Located just about walkable distance of 2 km from Darjeeling station, Alstromeria is a beautiful homestay offering one of the best views in town. There’s a short uphill walk to reach the property, but the host kindly took care of our luggage, which made it much easier. The place is very hygienic and spotless. The apartment is a bit compact, and since both floors are connected, privacy can be slightly limited making it more suitable for a group of friends or a family of around four. The hosts were extremely warm and welcoming, and they prepared a lovely breakfast while also accommodating our food preferences. Do keep in mind the uphill walk, it’s manageable but easier if you’re a bit active. Overall, a cozy stay with stunning views and great hospitality.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this homestay in Darjeeling! The place is cozy, clean, and offers a breathtaking view of the hills — waking up to that view was pure magic. A special mention to the lovely hosts, Subina and Dhiraj, who made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. They’re genuinely kind, helpful, and always ready with a smile. And oh, Subina’s aloo paratha is a must-try — she’s an amazing cook! Every meal she served was full of love and authentic flavor. If you’re visiting Darjeeling and want a peaceful, homely stay with stunning views and warm hospitality, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended! 🌸

Please stay away from this place. Extremely abusive and toxic guy. We had a medical emergency, instead of helping us to do the needful he was busy washing away his hands. And climbing to the guest house is an uphill task.

Dhiraj was very accomodating and hospitable. He and his family took us in like one of their own. The place is up a pretty steep slope so it might be a bit troublesome for some but it is worth it since you get an unfiltered view of the hills and it's beauty. The food they cooked was very delightful and light. There is a general store a few steps away as well so if you have any basic items that you might've forgotten you don't have to travel a mile away for it.

If you visit Darjeeling, this homestay is the best. Blindly book this stay for you will have the best host. They will take care of you like family. The rooms are super cosy and beautiful. Don't forget to ask for bonfire (chargeable). Don't miss home cooked food it was super tasty, felt like home (again chargeable ofcourse ). I would rate it 10/10. Only issue old people/sick ones might face due to the steep climb to the rooms as it's uphill. Regardless Coolie will be arranged to pickup and drop your bags. Apart from this, no problem at all.. Though I didn't interact with Dheeraj much. But had nice interaction with his wife, Subina. She was extremely sweet and humble .. I hope I remember your name correctly. Thank you bhauju for making us feel like home. Mauka mile feri bhetaula❤️❤️😊🏡
