One of best stays in North Bengal. I recently stayed at Nivvana Homestay in Sherpa Gaon, and it was truly one of the best mountain experiences I’ve ever had. Located about an hour from Kalimpong town and just 10 minutes before Lava, this place is a hidden gem tucked away from all tourist crowds. The Location & Views: The homestay sits in a serene hillside location offering breathtaking, unobstructed mountain and valley views. Waking up to misty valleys and lush greenery was pure magic. The village itself is highly walkable—you can easily explore local tea gardens, football grounds, temples, and a monastery on foot. Rooms & Amenities: The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable with large windows/balconies facing the hills. Unlike many offbeat places, they provide excellent amenities including high-speed Free Wi-Fi, Power Backup, and Free Parking. Hospitality & Food: The traditional hospitality here is incredible. The owners and staff treat you like family, ensuring every need is met. The food is delicious, freshly prepared, and features comforting, home-cooked local flavors. Highlights: Spending the evenings by a warm bonfire with a barbecue under a sky full of stars was the perfect way to unwind. Whether you are looking for a quiet family getaway, a peaceful workation, or an authentic taste of village life, Nivvana Homestay is highly recommended. I will definitely visit again!

I recently visited this beautiful homestay to enjoy the monsoon in the hills, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The location is absolutely beautiful, the food was delicious, and the caretaker was extremely polite and welcoming. They were also very thoughtful about our child and arranged suitable food for them. The homestay helped us arrange sightseeing as well, which made our trip even more convenient and enjoyable. The best part is that everything was reasonably priced and very pocket-friendly. Overall, a lovely place with great hospitality, beautiful surroundings, delicious food, and excellent service. Highly recommended!

Sherpa gaon .....stay there and enjoy the beautiful village by walk ..tea garden , cherry blossom , football ground , monastry , temple everything with very scenic beauty. Homestay's people are friendly , food taste there very good . Also the advantage there is lava town only 6 km away . Must visit village near lava .

Must try "Chicken Kosha" it's just awesome. It will remind you of your home Kolkata. Parking space ✅, Homestay owner is too good their behaviour also very good. Don't waste your time at homestay explore this village. This is soo beautiful village. Must visit tea estate.

It was a great experience, you must visit between March to May or October if wanna enjoy the mesmerizing view, because we went there during monsoon so it was verry cloudy and foggy. Otherwise the service was great and the people were very humble and helpful. Rooms were clean too.

The customer service is truly top-notch, and the breathtaking views from the property make the stay even more memorable. Everything was peaceful, clean, and well-maintained.
