Recently, we stayed at Ramri homestay for our Jhalong and nearby places' tour. I, alongwith my family members was overwhelmed by their hospitality. And, the various dishes for the whole tour, they cooked were delicious and it feels like we are eating at our home. If you want a homely feel with tasty authentic nepali local food, this is the place for you. The owner Karma da and his wife were so welcoming and friendly. And moreover if you need trendy and fantastic photographs just ask Karma da, he is crazy good with photography skills and can help you make some good reels as well. So check it out, you won't regret it.

Very nice fooding and beautiful home stay.

Paren during the monsoon is a delight for those who love lush greenery and peaceful surroundings. The continuous flowing sound of the river Jaldhaka puts one’s mind at ease. You can watch the clouds flying by over the ridges of Bhutan as the day fades into the lap of night. Although for that you need a proper place to stay where you can feel at home far from home. That is where This homestay comes into play. My friend and I stayed here from 14th to 16th of June, 2025 during our Visit to Paren. Mr. Karma Lama(Retired Indian Army Officer) and his wife Mrs. Shila Lama were our hosts. From the moment we stepped into their home, they treated us as their own sons. From taking us to the river where we could swim and relax for hours to making delicious meals for us, they put their best effort into everything. It was truly a one of a kind holiday stay experience for us because I had never seen a homestay owner do so much just to make their guests feel welcome and happy. Mr. Lama even took us to a few spots of which many people are not even aware of. Ther rooms, the food the stay, everything deserves a solid 10/10 rating. And The prices are very reasonable as well. For me. Personally the biggest highlight of this stay was Coco, the Trusted German Shepard of the Lama family who is so well trained, sometimes I was sceptical about him being a dog and not a human🤣 I have posted a few photos of the place, hope these help you. 10/10 would recommend. PS: They have Karaoke, you can sit downstairs with your friends/ family and sing your heart out.

We stayed at ramri homestay from 27-05 to 29-05-2025.The location of the homestay is close to nature.The service,food quality,dining area were awesome.I have stayed in many homestays in the hilly regions of North Bengal,but I think the owner's behaviour of Ramri homestay is the best in comparison to the owners of the other homestays.In the evening,we used to spend time at the well decorated dining cum seating room,where the owner and a guest of hilly region used to sing songs,the voice of that guest was marvellous.

We had a wonderful stay & received exceptional hospitality at Ramri homestay. Location is very beautiful and close to nature. Hosts went above & beyond to exceed our expectations. Great dining experience that never gave us feeling of being away from our home. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience here & spend quality time with family. I had found about this homestay from google and called and then decided to book it. Thank heaven I did as this turned out to be the best stay and experience of our entire north Bengal trip of last May. Words will fall short for their hospitality and the food they served we can still savor after all these months. Rooms, bathrooms spaces will get 10 out of 10 for their comfort and cleanliness. He even gave a tour of the local nearby attractions. Overall All I can say is if I ever been to Jhalong this will always be my first choice!!!
