As per the Property Interiors ,its very clean ,good and maintained, room was small but very cozy and had a great view of the Tea Garden Valley, Sunita Tamang the caretaker Didi was very courteous ,caring and Professional, she guided us to the Homestay as I and My son lost our way as the location is down hill and without local people aide almost impossible to find, Food as ordered was very tasty ,made and served with care .Location wise its impossible for any visitors from plain land to climb down at a gradient of almost 45 45 degrees and climbing up is a torture BUT, they have arrangement for car pickup and drop at extra cost around 800 -1000 INR ,Great Views are the best part .The in house Staffs such as Sunita Didi ,Sharada and another Didi as present is very pleasant and caring. The Property Owners Mrs Nikita's behavior is quite contrary to her property name" LAMA ,Atithi Deva Bhava" meaning Guest is God ...she got pretty irritated when called up for direction to her property and mentioned not to call and disturb her and shared the caretakers number ...that was pretty sad experience as every time I travelled to Darjeeling or any Hills I have always found people very humble and soft spoken ...most probably with more and more tourist, commercialization of Darjeeling, deforestation and reckless construction of Hotels and properties every inches of Darjeeling has choked her Mountain Spirit … If You are planning to go with family and want to relax and enjoy food and look at wide spread Green Tea Garden ..this is the place for You ,not suitable for elders as there are steep stairs to the property and inside the property but Cleanliness wise ,view wise and comfortable stay ...this property is Good .

Had a terrible experience. I had booked for a room through Goibibo. But on reaching the place we were informed that there was no rooms available. I called her once & asked for refund. Then i had to call her 5 times & she didn’t receive. Only after i had complaint on Goibibo she called me. We were lucky enough to find a place nearby but the hassle was too much. This is unacceptable behaviour. Will never book with them again. 0 stars from me

Wonderful Stay with Great Hospitality We recently stayed for 2 days at Lama Atithi Devo Bhav Homestay, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. Lama ma'am was very warm and welcoming, providing us with helpful information about local tourist spots, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The food at the homestay was delicious, giving us a true taste of local cuisine. Although the homestay is a bit far from the main road, they do offer a pickup and drop service. However, it is chargeable, which is something to keep in mind. Despite this, the peaceful and serene surroundings more than made up for the distance. If you're looking for a quiet and comfortable place to relax, this homestay is a great choice!
