Very nice place. Clean, spacious and great service and food. Best that you can get in this price range. Very cordial owner and manager. They facilitated cab, bbq and few medicines that we needed promptly. Nice people great view specially from terrace. Kanchanjangha is visible on clear days if you’re lucky you’ll witness it.

One of the most peaceful and refreshing stays I’ve had in a long time. The property is beautifully maintained, surrounded by a calm vibe that instantly helps you unwind. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and very hygienic. What truly stood out was the warm hospitality , the staff was extremely courteous and attentive throughout our stay. The terrace views combined with the cool weather created the perfect setting to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The food was another highlight: fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great care. A perfect escape from the city rush — the kind of place that makes you want to extend your stay and come back again.

Our family recently visited this beautiful property in North India from Kerala, and honestly, we were a little hesitant at first because of the distance and unfamiliar location. But from the very beginning, the entire experience was handled so smoothly and professionally that all our doubts disappeared. The team arranged a cab pickup from Siliguri, and the driver was extremely polite and helpful. The hospitality started right from there. Once we reached the property, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt comfortable and at home. The rooms were very clean, hygienic, and well-maintained. The overall atmosphere of the property was peaceful, calm, and refreshing — exactly what we were looking for as a family getaway. The weather made the experience even more special, and one of the highlights was being able to catch a beautiful glimpse of Kangchenjunga from the terrace. Another thing worth mentioning is the food — absolutely delicious and freshly prepared. Every meal added to the comfort and warmth of the stay. It is located around 9 km from main town kalimpong and no market or shop is available nearby. Do not expect Kanchanjunga view from room but from the rooftop definitely in clear sky. It's better to come out from the home-stay and trek 5 minutes to get a mesmerizing view of Kanchanjunga (ask local people for the root). The Home Stay is good. Their hospitality is also good. They will make food as per your request. If you want a calm atmosphere in lap of hills then it is a good option.

Amazing! That’s what you feel when you visit this cozy place with an amazing view of Kanchenjunga at your disposal from sunrise to sunset. The stay was super comfortable with a nice homely food. The place is located at a quiet and calm area of the town to help you relax and be away from the busy life of a city. After a long travel from Bangalore and getting to relax at a quiet place with such view and vibe is really worth coming to again for me and my wife! It's the best basecamp for exploring further places in Sikkim and Northern Bengal. Thank you guys for this experience.

Avasa Retreat Homestay–এ থাকার অভিজ্ঞতা খুবই ভালো ছিল। পরিবেশ শান্ত ও পরিচ্ছন্ন, রুমগুলো আরামদায়ক এবং সুন্দরভাবে সাজানো। স্টাফদের ব্যবহার ভদ্র ও সহযোগিতাপূর্ণ। পরিবার বা বন্ধুবান্ধব নিয়ে কিছুটা নিরিবিলি সময় কাটানোর জন্য দারুণ একটি জায়গা। আবার সুযোগ পেলে অবশ্যই আসতে চাই।
