A truly remarkable adventure! The owner Kabir created a personalised itinerary for us based around the PaliGhar - Kalimpong Experience. Each day was filled with treks starting from their charming eco homestay deep in the countryside on the outskirts of Kalimpong. The walks were fascinating, guided by Kabir and passing through many local villages. The knowledge and skills of Kabir added so much value - flora and fauna, photography, monasteries, local history and an especially keen eye to spot wonderful birds. Kabir and his wife Ahana deliver a truly remarkable experience, supported by friendly staff from local villages nearby. The lovely breakfasts set us up for each journey, followed by delicious meals on our return. So peaceful. Unique! Authentic! Highly recommended.
Our trip to Ladakh was beautifully organized — every detail thoughtfully planned, allowing us to simply soak in the breathtaking beauty around us. From the majestic mountains to the serene walking trails, each moment felt special. The warmth of the people added an extra layer of charm to the trip. A truly memorable experience — one that will stay in our hearts for a long time.
Our experience with Palighar was stellar. Kabir was responsive and courteous and was able to customize our trip perfectly given our group composition and preferences. His homestay in Kalimpong is absolutely dreamlike and we could have stayed many more days. Our driver for the duration of the trip was excellent and able to navigate some very difficult roads. Our journey onward to Sikkim and Darjeeling was also flawless. We can’t wait to try Palighar Experiences again for another family holiday
