Our trip to Ladakh was beautifully organized — every detail thoughtfully planned, allowing us to simply soak in the breathtaking beauty around us. From the majestic mountains to the serene walking trails, each moment felt special. The warmth of the people added an extra layer of charm to the trip. A truly memorable experience — one that will stay in our hearts for a long time.

Our experience with Palighar was stellar. Kabir was responsive and courteous and was able to customize our trip perfectly given our group composition and preferences. His homestay in Kalimpong is absolutely dreamlike and we could have stayed many more days. Our driver for the duration of the trip was excellent and able to navigate some very difficult roads. Our journey onward to Sikkim and Darjeeling was also flawless. We can’t wait to try Palighar Experiences again for another family holiday

Westbengal is not the easiest place to travel with a wheelchair. But Kabir our guide and Tseten as a driver managed to provide an extremely enjoyable journey, so we came home full of heartwarming memories. We were able to dive deep into the culture, trying excellent home made food, enjoying walks and connecting to people. They both were always helpful and they knew immediately what we like. They adopted the schedule very quickly if necessary. Having said this, if the rating ranges from 1 to 10 (and 10 is the best), they are both a 10 plus! They went the extra mile each and every day. They deserve a special THANK YOU!

We had one of our most memorable holidays with you. And because of you, we love Darjeeling, the food, the sights,the history,the culture and the people. Thank you so much for being our perfect host and making us feel so welcome and cared for. We miss Darjeeling. Oh and I forgot to mention the lovely lunch your aunt made and the monasteries and shops and schools.
