A very good place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of Kurseong town. Beautiful views of the valley from the balcony and rooms. Service is moderate. Food is up to the mark. Room and toilets are clean and fresh.

A truly wonderful homestay with an amazing view and a beautiful ambience. The hospitality was exceptional, and the staff were very polite, well-mannered, and always ready to help. It felt very warm and welcoming throughout the stay. Everything was well-managed, peaceful, and comfortable. One of the best homestays to visit, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable experience.

We booked 2 rooms in this place for our friends birthday party on 31st .. spoken with Samuel for bookings and informed him about our party scenes.. My friend who booked the stay did a mistake and he didn't ask questions and just booked it knowing how all homestays work in our hills.. Like Usually every homestay provides 3 meals and evening snacks which includes in the total tarrif itself, but they charged us 350 per plate!! Thank god we ate only dinner.. Later in the morning when asked for brakefast she denied first then after pressure she arranged puri alu, then while billing when asked for all the extra charges she quickly said "puri alu tou free mai diya na" Also We had ordered 3kg chicken for BBQ that was charged 3k which is fine but the shocking part is they didn't marinate the chicken nor used any butter or any oil, raw chicken in high flames, burnt the chicken in fire.. Nobody could eat.. They have zero idea on BBQ but still charging 1k just like other pro homestays do!! We had to call off the BBQ! Disappointed.. And later we burnt few scrap woods with nails which was supposed to be used for BBQ which they couldn't do, for that too they charged 1000 rupee extra!! We had ordered 1kg panner also for BBQ that was 800 ruppee, we had to carry our raw chicken and panner all the way home after paying 12k for one night stay for 2 rooms that too not actic..

Honestly, one of the best homestays I’ve stayed at so far. The view, the vibe, the atmosphere and everything was top tier. Super homely place with insane valley views. The best part was the hosts. The whole family was so kind and welcoming, it genuinely made me want to come back again. Paid ₹1800 for the stay with all meals included, and the food was really good. Peter, Jyoti, and Rai are easily some of the best hosts I met during my entire one-month trip. Food was amazing overall. Sometimes it was veg but honestly no complaints because it still tasted great. They really go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Clean rooms, great care, warm hospitality, and that view was on point. Super satisfied. Would 100% visit again. Highly recommended.

The location and the homestay is beautiful. The hosts are very cooperative. Only problem is geyser problem in most of the rooms and water takes bit time to get heated. The food they cook is very nice and tasty. If you want to stay in a beautiful wooden homestay with beautiful and spacious rooms then this place is highly recommended. The place is Gidda Pahar on Hill Cart road. You can see lush greenery all around with mesmerizing scenic beauty , tea gardens and view sunrise over Tiger Hills from here. All the rooms here are view rooms. They have a beautiful dining room from where view is available and a beautiful big terrace where you can sit whole day and enjoy the views around. A few shops are available nearby for grocery.
