Very beautiful stay at this hotel. Rooms are excellent. Even the staffs were very helpful specially Ruchika. I would recommend everyone to must visit once at this hotel. Plus point you will get parking at hotel.

Rooms and views were awesome.Very good service. Ruchika the manager was very cooperative . Overall food and everything was excellent. Most importantly you get covered parking at the hotel premises itself.

It was a very pleasant stay at The whistle stop. Rooms are comfy. Even the food was awesome. The hospitality was appreciable. Specially with the host Ruchika there! Must not forget you get a parking at your hotel. Must go place.

The place was magnificent and lowkey isolated from the main town which was good for certain ppls based on their interest, and the rooms were pretty good as wel, among everything i'd say the food was best

Everything is good…

I recently stayed here. One of the best homestays. Rooms are very clean. Service is top notch. Everyone is very responsive and cooperative. You can hear toy train sounds the whole day. It has a strategic location of batasia loop. Overall, the best homestay. The main chowk bazaar is only around 5 kms and you get sharing taxis easily from there.

Whistle Stop is a fantastic place and I enjoy having my meals in this place. In Darjeeling, this is my favourite place.

Damp smell in room, blanket and beddings we're smelling too.. Liked their tea, and other stuff, but they use tons of food color.. Can't get rid of the color after three days.. Staff are good and polite, as all Darjeeling peaple are.

The room size is very compact .Also washrooms are not that clean . First day I didn’t got the brkfst coz their chef wasn’t available; disappointing it was. Next night electricity went off due to heavy rainfall ;they didn’t have generator backup . I was unable to charge my phones ; even we didn’t took bath coz the geyser wouldn’t run . They didn’t have backup plans . I asked for boiled water to talk they didn’t served. Poor experience for me .

Only location is good but others things not worthy..we struggle staying there basic amenities like hot water, cattle, room service not at all good. Don't book this property....

The location is great (just adjacent to Batasia Loop). The rooms are very small in comparison to the price offer. One can get the food in their own restaurant but with the time restrictions. However a few nearby hotels are available if someone prefers late dine in or an affordable option. It will offer a less crowded experience as compared to main Darjeeling city. But roadside rooms may have noisy experience, specifically in the night. Ghoom Monastery and Station are also in a walking distance from the hotel.
