The only reason this place gets a 2 star is because nature did its job well — the Kanchenjunga and valley views are stunning. Everything else was a complete disappointment. The hospitality was shockingly bad. When we arrived, the boy at reception simply ignored us and vanished. There was nobody to welcome or assist guests. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. Cleanliness and hygiene standards were extremely poor. The overall upkeep of the property felt neglected and far below even basic expectations for a homestay. The food was terrible. We literally had to tell them that this is not how guests should be treated. The owner, Simon, never even bothered speaking to guests or checking on anything. This place markets itself as a homestay, but the warmth, care, hygiene, and authentic homestay experience were completely missing. A beautiful location wasted by careless management and indifferent behaviour.

Hard to reach, but worth it.

Most third class home stay with bad behaviour...bad hospitality...all stuff members including the manager bhvr too rude...over all bad experience...we recommend don't select this homestay as holiday stay...

Best experience of our life. We held a small intimate ceremony with our family here. The place is absolutely stunning, clean, well maintained with amazing management and staff. Great food. 10/10 experience. Also request to whoever visits this place: place respect the beauty and help keep this place clean. Bonus: You get perfect Kanchenjungha view from the lawn area above. ✨️❤️🌌✨️

Basic homestay, rooms are clean.owner Simon Rai very decent & cooperative person. Tasty food in good amount. Location is very good close to both Rishop & silk route.powerback up & wifi available.Two draw backs-1) no fan is available in room though its temp was>28'2)road condition is bad in last 15 min of journey.

I had one of the best experience in this resort. Starting with the food it was absolutely delicious, either lunch or dinner, or breakfast, it was tasty and had a home-cooked feeling to it that made it more delicious, there's also an option for barbecue. Second comes the view point...it's picturesque that I can't describe it in words, you can even see kanchenjunga from the balcony, plus they have also created other view points which are also pretty fun to explore. Then comes the hospitality, out of all my stays I had the best experience here, everyone was so friendly and hospitable even helpful it was admirable. In conclusion I had a great experience.
