Shiv Inn Stay !! Mountain View Homestay !! Near Mall Road

We stayed this homestay…I would to say something that this homestay is really really good .. the staff member are also very genuine and polite and helpful 🩷✨

My stay at Hotel Shiv Inn, Darjeeling, was extremely frustrating and disappointing. The property completely fails on basic standards of cleanliness and hospitality. Room Conditions: The rooms and bathrooms were unhygienic and poorly maintained, complete with water actively leaking from the ceiling. Terrible Service: The owner and staff were arrogant and highly unprofessional. They rudely refused to help us or our driver with directions to the hotel. Deceptive Charges: Late at night, management demanded extra money, claiming our booking was only for two people. This was dishonest and unfair, as all three of us were physically present and submitted our IDs during check-in without issue. Final Verdict: There are absolutely no pros to this hotel. Between the filthy conditions, disrespectful management, poor communication, and unfair extra charges, this was one of my worst travel experiences. I strongly advise anyone visiting Darjeeling to avoid Hotel Shiv Inn and book elsewhere.

The services was awesome. Polite behavior of the owner and his wife. The dilious food made by bhabi ji was not forgotten. Over all good place for holliday. And good care from the owner and also the booked car service for us, the driver was also awesome. Very good place to spend time in Darzilling.

We stayed at the Shiv Inn Stay for two nights in their 3BHK flat. Overall, our experience was excellent. The owner's behavior was wonderful, staffs are very helpful and we highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for an affordable hotel near Mall Road with a stunning view from the hotel.

Darjeeling ka trip aur bhi memorable ban gaya Shiv Inn Stay ki wajah se. Room clean tha, washroom bhi saaf-suthra tha aur mountain view bahut hi beautiful tha. Staff ka behaviour kaafi polite aur helpful raha, har cheez time se mil gayi. Location bhi theek hai, market aur Mall Road tak pahunchna easy tha. Overall budget ke hisaab se ye ek best option hai, definitely recommend karunga family aur couples dono ke liye.”

There’s also a spacious common terrace where you can sit back and enjoy the scenic beauty of Darjeeling. All amenities are well-maintained and functional. The rooms have floor carpets, which make the stay comfortable during cold weather. Free Wi-Fi is available, which is helpful as mobile network connectivity can sometimes be weak. There are sufficient plug points in the rooms, and everything — rooms, toilets, and terrace — is clean and well-equipped. Most of the main attractions around Darjeeling Mall are within 400 meters of the hotel. The owner and staff are very cooperative and welcoming. We stayed for 2 days and were very happy with the service. If you don’t mind a short 250-meter steep walk to reach the hotel, it’s definitely worth it for the view and comfortable stay within budget.

Very poor service and poor behaviour.room not good and food quality very wrost..

Good room in good price. View rooms are really nice I stayed in mountain view room 4th floor. You cannot have food or coffee on rooftop but you can see the view. You must be fit enough to climb & walk to the hotel which is located on lower toonsung road & inclined. In addition if your room is view room, you must climb to 4th floor. Hotel staff, room, cleanliness is good but inclined road & 4th floor climbing is a point to consider while booking.

Our experience was really great. Getting such a beautiful room with all amenities at such a cheap rate, just within 400 meters from the mall, is something you won’t truly understand unless you stay here. Their hospitality truly impressed us. I would definitely recommend staying at Shiv Inn at least once.

The rooms are comfortable with full carpeted flooring. Some rooms offer beautiful mountain views along with a private balcony. The service is good, and the manager and staff are very polite, friendly, and helpful. Overall, it was a great experience at an affordable price. The only downside is that you need to walk on steep roads to reach the property.

My colleague recommended this homestay. The view from the room is amazing. The owner is very well behaved person. Hardly 200/300m from chowrasta but you have to hike everytime. Not recommended for elderly people.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The view from our room was absolutely stunning and made our trip even more memorable. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Special thanks to our host, who was incredibly warm, helpful, and made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!

Place is Awsm , they provide budget friendly services. Owner is very sweet and clam. When ever you visit Darjeeling choose shiv inn stay . Very near to Mall Road . They also provide bike rider for pick and drop service from /to Mall Road .

Terrible behaviour of staffs and manager, stale food, broken rooms with poor lighting and ventilation , smelly bedrolls, infested with mites and rats, unhygienic bathrooms with no water. Overall very bad experience.
