The owner is very warm and welcoming 😄, The food is very homely and tasty, the househelp staffs were very helpful and have such a nice postive and warm vibes, over-all the homestay is absolutely recommended for people looking for a chill place to spend a few days, and the location is exceptional and the scenarios are beautiful ❤️

Our stay at Grey Dove was truly wonderful and very comfortable. The location was excellent and beautifully situated — right opposite the Kalimpong market and beside a large open ground from where the panoramic mountain views were absolutely breathtaking. The owner, Mr. David, deserves special appreciation. He was exceptionally kind and hospitable. Since he was the president of Dr. Graham’s Homes, he personally took us on a visit to the school and explained its entire history in great detail. He generously gave us his valuable time and accompanied us around the campus, which made the experience even more memorable. The staff members, Zephone and Subhash, were also extremely polite and helpful. They provided us with proactive and attentive service throughout our stay. Overall, it was a truly delightful and memorable experience.

The homestay is just in the lap of the hills. It's so pleasant to watch the clouds cover the view and again clearing all by itself. We went in the month of June (mid of June) and it was the most beautiful weather we had witnessed. The clouds were just playing around in nature. The homestay is in a very isolated area away from town near Dr. Graham's Homes school. I would recommend everyone to visit the place. The food cost is justified, the home cooked meal which is provided by the caretakers are next level. It's delicious, yummy and tastes like home food.

Grey Dove Homestay is a lovely place to stay with a beautiful scenic view from the balcony. The surroundings are peaceful, and the atmosphere is relaxing. However, since it's located in a bit of a downhill area, going up and down might be challenging, especially for elderly guests. The rooms were clean and well maintained, equipped with two beds (each with its own pillow and blanket), a sofa, tea table, and an attached washroom with a geyser. The bathroom had both hot and cold water facilities, though only a single towel was provided for the stay. A TV was present in the room but unfortunately was not working during our visit. There were no in-room facilities like an electric kettle or coffee/tea setup, and drinking water wasn't served proactively. However, they do provide it on request. The staff were very polite, attentive, and warm in their behavior. A nice gesture we appreciated was them giving us 'uttariya' during our departure. The food served was tasty and sufficient in quantity. One of the most delightful parts of our stay was spending time with the homestay’s cute and well-behaved dogs — they added a warm and homely touch to the overall experience. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few areas that could be improved to enhance guest comfort.
