If I could give zero stars, I would. This was, without a doubt, the single worst lodging experience I have ever had. Please heed this warning and do not believe the misleading Google reviews and high ratings you see online—they must be fabricated or paid reviews. The moment we stepped into the room, a strong, foul odor hit us. The entire space reeked of stale air and something indescribable. The basic standard of cleanliness was non-existent: 1) The floor was visibly dirty, covered in grime and dust. The bathroom was disgusting; the fixtures were moldy, and the tiles were coated in dirt. 2) The bedsheet, pillow, and cover were all stained and clearly had not been washed in ages. 3) Dried red stains of what looked like paan or gutka spit marks on the floors and balcony, making the environment feel cheap and deeply unsanitary. 4) The geyser was completely non-functional. In the cold weather of Aritar, having zero access to hot water is unacceptable, making showering impossible. Save your money, save your time, and save your peace of mind. Seek accommodation anywhere else. This is genuinely the worst homestay in Aritar and should be avoided at all costs.

A big homestay, like small hotel, managed by two bengali boy. Originally a local owned house but leased by other's, who managed the hotel like homestay.
