Pahar E Satyajit Homestay Ramdhura

I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable experience. The service was excellent, the staff were polite and welcoming, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained.

We went here on the 25th May 2026. Room, their behaviour, along their foods ( specially "Karala Vaji" 🫣😁) was very very good. From the balcony here, we were able to see Kanchenjunga on 26th May at 5:30 am. From personal experience, We were highly recommend this homestay at Ramdhura..

Room is not applicable to give 1 star also. ROOMS ARE WORST EVER. No basic amenities. No wardrobe, no tool to keep anything. No sofa or chair to sit. Lots and lots of insects, no night lamp, nothing. So depressive. No TV. Geyser also dont work properly. No cleaning nothing. Mentioned picture is of a poisonous spider. I had allergy because of the insects. We had booked ground floor because of my aged mother who cannot walk properly, they simply had given that room to other guest and we were given the worst room ever in the upper floor. I personally dont recommend anyone for stay in Pahare Satyajit, Ramdhura. Simply hanging pictures of films of Satyajit Ray does not mean it embodies his theme or legacy. Please do not misuse his name in this way.

Awesome balcony view

A beautiful homestay with affordable rate . Visited last week . Since it's the off season (monsoon) , the rate of stay per person was 900 INR . Rest of the times , it is 1200 INR . Includes 4 meals . The meals were undoubtedly delicious . The rooms were neat and clean . Owner and the management were too good . Our rooms were : Pother Panchali and Gupi Gayen Bagha Bayen . Both the rooms had huge windows with beautiful view . Enjoyed the stay over there and it's gonna be a long lasting feeling.

We are satisfied with the services, rooms and the location. The rooms are well decorated along the themes. Also the well furnished rooms provided home like ambiance. The space is clean and spacious. I liked their balconies and the common space. We had fun doing camp fire and had a great Barbeque chicken served by them. The food was amazing. We had special respect for the helper didi. She cooked amazing food. Next I shall mention the room's theme. Which were based on the Famous writer, director, story teller, artist Satyajit Ray. Each room was based on his creations and memories. Being a Bengali no doubt we loved it and we do appreciate their taste. Finally I loved our stay there. I loved the view. Luckily we got the view of mt. Kanchenjunga in the peak monsoon season. I do recommend a stay in Pahar E Satyajit Homestay. Enjoy your stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms, service everything was taken care of really well. One thing to highlight- the food. From simple rice daal to momos everything was amazing! Highly recommended.

Stayed here on 01.11.24 & 02.11.24. Room ambience is awesome. Proper cleaned room and waashroom. Service was also too good. Staff(Pavitra & Manish) behavior is so polite and freindly. Food was also nice. Only one draw back as per my experience, bangali style food is not upto the mark. ০১.১১.২৪ এবং ০২.১১.২৪ তারিখে এখানে ছিলাম। ঘরের পরিবেশ অসাধারণ। পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্ন ঘর এবং ওয়াশরুম। পরিষেবাও খুব ভালো ছিল। কর্মীদের (পবিত্রা এবং মনীশ) আচরণ খুবই ভদ্র এবং বন্ধুত্বপূর্ণ। খাবারও চমৎকার ছিল। আমার অভিজ্ঞতা অনুসারে, বাঙালি খাবার খুব একটা সুস্বাদু নয়।
