A quiet escape from hustling Darjeeling. Lumanti is 2 km from busy Darjeeling. Take you tangled mind to empty space and fresh oxygen. Owner hospitality makes you amazed 👏.
It's such a place where you can spend your time with your family.Nice atmosphere, amidst the greenary. You will come close to the nature, you will find tea garden which is the main attraction of Darjeelin. The food they serve is very delicious. The room are well cleaned and the staff are really well behaved.Overall, it's a ideal place to live in a calm, not crowded place.
One of the best places to stay near Darjeeling (close to tea gardens), just 2 km aways from the Darjeeling main town. This is the most quiet place i have ever stayed in. A Nature lovers dream place, also uncle & aunty who takes cares of this place are very nice. Definately recommended.
Great place to explore, near but far from the rush in Darjeeling. Great kanchanjangha view. Food simple but good.
they are really kind hearted persons.i really loved it. I got a new family. they were take care like our parents..
It was actually a pleasure to get the taste of being in such a peice of this beautiful environment with hospitality which is next to impressive.
Highly recommended place! If you love offbeat locations, it is one of the best locations. The rooms are good and unique too. The owners, Uncle and Auntie, are very humble and make you feel at home. They built this stay with their heart, and you will understand this when you stay with them. The food is too yummy! You must try the barbecue; it is so delicious. The views from this stay are beautiful. Every corner of this place makes me feel like I never want to leave.
We came to this home stay on 31st. We did not come on anyone's preference, we found them on Google and contacted them and they guided us very nicely. This home stay view is just awesome. And even more awesome is their behavior, and the food tastes like home-cooked food, very nice and hygienic. Thank u so much Mr. and Mrs for treating us so well.
Great place to stay .. Great view

Lumanti Farms Homestay in Darjeeling is a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature. The hosts are warm and welcoming, the food is delicious, and the views are simply stunning. Perfect place to relax and experience true local hospitality!
It was really very very satisfying staying there. Everything was prefect !! The rooms, the views, the food quality, their behavior...each and everything. I would highly recommend it. You won't regret !!
This is going to be a fairly detailed review. I first discovered Lumanti Farms Homestay through YouTube videos and was instantly drawn to it. In fact, we loved the look of it so much that we actually cancelled our return tickets just to extend our trip by a day and stay here.
Located about 15 minutes’ drive from Darjeeling Chauk Bazar, Lumanti Farms offers a completely different perspective of the hills. From here, you get sweeping views of the tea gardens, the whole of Darjeeling town, and, on a clear day, even Mt. Kanchenjunga. We’re so used to looking at places like this from Darjeeling — but seeing Darjeeling itself from the opposite side was a unique and memorable experience.
Reaching the property was easy. We took a shared car from Chauk Bazar (look out for the Arya Tea Estate share cars) and got here in just 15 minutes. The stay consists of three cottages and a dormitory with bunk beds. We stayed in the “Bakal” cottage, which arguably has the best view of the adjacent tea gardens.
The room itself was a cozy wooden cabin with a double bed. It wasn’t very spacious, but perfectly fine for a night or two. The window view of the tea gardens added a nice touch.
The main downside, however, was the bathroom. It wasn’t dirty, but there was a persistent foul smell that made it quite unpleasant to use. The fittings also needed maintenance — the sink leaked from underneath, causing water to pool on the floor, and small holes here and there, allowing spiders and centipedes to find their way in. I sincerely request the management to pay more attention to maintaining the bathrooms, as it was the only real dampener during our stay.
Another major issue was the cobwebs around the property. I completely understand this is common in such locations and at this time of year, but a bit more effort to clear them, especially around pathways, would go a long way. Both my friend and I accidentally walked into the webs more than once, which wasn’t pleasant.
That being said, everything else about the stay was wonderful. The uncle and aunty who run the place were warm, welcoming, and genuinely sweet people. The food they served was homely, wholesome, and delicious. After indulging in too much junk food in Darjeeling, having simple, tasty, homestyle meals here was exactly what we needed.
Overall, Lumanti Farms Homestay is an excellent option if you want to spend a day or two away from the bustle of Darjeeling, without having to go too far from town. With just a little more attention to the bathrooms and upkeep, this place could be close to perfect.
I absolutely loved my one-night stay at this charming farm stay! It’s located just a little downhill from town, making it the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway with friends. The views are stunning, the food was incredibly delicious, and the host uncle and aunty were so sweet and accommodating. On a side note, there was no tissue paper available, so it’s a good idea to carry your own as shops aren’t very close. I’d definitely love to come back!
5 km from darjeeling main city,, It's, a totally isolated place,, right for mental peace.. And tha night view was just 👌 😲
I would not recommended this homestay at all, cleanliness is biggest issue. Location is also not good. Behavior of care taker boy was very rude, unprofessional.
I recently stayed at this homestay for three days, and it was truly new experience to me cause it was my first ever solo trip. The property was clean, well-maintained with a amazing night view. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic stay. Definitely looking forward to visiting again!
Nearest darjeeling this is an offbeat place, lush green sorrunded, such a beautiful and peaceful location .....Food is too good, organic and also I liked food serving style....
