Whispering Pines Farmstay

Just awesome location. Stayed on 13 n 14.7.26 nights with four friends. General cleanliness and bathroom full marks. Rooms specially first floor rooms nos 201 n 203 mind blowing . We took package food that too full marks with fish, chicken curry,fried rice, chilly chicken and ruti sabji combinations. Staff behaviour is very good. Manager Raju helped us a lot on various aspects like local tour, transport n service. Only cons we faced too much leech in surroundings( not in property but just beyond).

This Farmstay is situated in between the pine forest, but the rooms are not maintained at all, floors are not cleaned properly, but they charge so much for foods, & water , they are literally looting people, one piece normal roti 30 rupees, they are charging 3 times more, Okay we're paying all this but you've to give the services accordingly, there's no electricity whole night. Worst experience. Think before you spend your money.

I never expected such a disappointing experience at Whispering Pine Farmstay in Garubathan, near Lava. The location is deep inside the forest, which sounds beautiful, but unfortunately, the property is not well maintained at all and is highly overpriced. The food quality was average at best, and the prices were shockingly high. We have traveled to many places, including Sandakphu, Nagaland, and Meghalaya, but we have never seen food priced this excessively. People may argue that prices have increased everywhere, but even in remote places like Sandakphu, where transportation is much more difficult, we did not find food this expensive. Moreover, the quantity of food served here was also very small considering the price. Another major issue was the lack of basic facilities. There was no generator or backup arrangement during power cuts. The room had an unpleasant smell, and the surroundings of the farmstay were not properly cleaned or maintained. Overall, it was a very poor experience and definitely not worth the money. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-maintained stay.

The duplex rooms we stayed, are spacious, clean and with fantastic views. The farmstay itself is beautifully decorated and situated in a pleasant landscape. A great place for staycation and to experience a calm, peaceful atmosphere. Food was tasting homely and service is also good. Although it seems a little costly, but the remote location and the good rooms and services could justify that.

Over price of all food. Rooms are not clean properly. Staffs are not cooperative. Power back up is also poor.

"জোঁক" (রক্তচোষা প্রাণী) Leech are too much in surrounded, view is excellent. All things are very excellent but leech are spoil everything

Whispering pines farmstay e eshe horrible experience holo , and uncalled for they are charging 3 star hotels accommodation, taking advantage of the location they are now exporting money , in all ways , like food is expensive more than a star hotel, in the name of conveyance they have cars of their own and charging like heel taking advantage of the location off beat it seems.You can get all addictive like liqure, cigarettes, and hookah and others may be with double cost . They are luring customers without any actual comfort of stay . Only USP is location and natural beauty and you can get that too or better in camping . Why I am saying this as I am writing this rewiew now from my room booked in this farmstay as you have recommended, it's raining now and dropps of water are drowning in the double bed and I am with my child and wife maybe they will sleep tight I the attic bed and me will be sleeping on the floor spending 13 k for 2 nights with food , ami call korechilam bhodro bhabe bollam inconvenience ar bollam amnader discount dewa uchit they are so arrogant bollo pahare erom hoy. Horrible experience extorting money from boarders , food is priced more than 5 stars and sevice is very poor , attitude is world class stay accommodation but water pours during rain on the bed when you sleep , better to sleep in a shed on the road in rainy season 😴 , please think twice before coming.They are charging actually looting.

I alongwith my family stayed in this property for two nights 30th May till 1st June. The rooms are not at all well maintained. As the property is adjacent to the Pine Forest, there is no proper maintenance for pest control the iinside the rooms. The location is not cold during summer but there is no provision for fans or ac during the day. The staffs and the manager are non cooperative and highly unprofessional and lack basic hospitality manners. Food proportions are very inadequate and the quality is also not good. The manager served left over afternoon chicken in the dinner menu. Food quality is not at all good. The manger lacks basic communication skills. Would not recommend this property. The present owners must look into it.

Absolutely overwhelmed and satisfied with the quality of rooms, view, food quality and hospitality received here. We stayed here for 2 nights and we had a memorable experience. Manager Prashant and staff Lallan always served us with a smile and we had a great experience overall.

Had a lovely serene stay at Whispering Pine. All the services and the behaviour of all the staffs are courteous specially Proshanto, Sudeep and Bipesh. Over all it’s a good staycation.❤️

A very premium farmstay. Excellent helpful staff. If one gets a clear weather(we didn't get it) then it will be an awesome experience. Sudip who drives their car is also very friendly and will give you very good service.

We stayed here for 2days 23rd and 24th march...the ambience and environment here is top notch .......staff behavior food quality everything was good .....customized food is available according to their menu.....our overall experience was so good

Excellent experience... staffs behaviour very nice... Prashanta is very helpful and well mannered... They all engaged during evening session on live music & dance. Must come and visit. Food is costly, let ask them about menu rate, then place order otherwise all good..

We are staying in Whispering Pines, situated in Mandal Gaon on 12.2.26. The farmstay is located in a picturesque serene surroundings amongst the hills. The farmstay is more of a luxurious guest house rather than a homestay. The host has meticulously built the homestay with minute details and care. It has a class written over the decor and furniture and fittings. It has excellent WIFI service with good speed. Anyone can do official work without any problem. The staffs are very cordial and helpful. The manager Mr. Prashant and Mr. Ratan is very prompt in their services. The food is excellent and prepared as per the guest's choice and taste in a hygiene manner. The toilet is unique, fitted with all modern amenities. The big glass window over looking the hills was a amazing experience. Overall we found the staying was a memorable experience and money well spent. Will definitely try to come here again.

Very nice farmstay in the lap of nature.. Surrounded by pine forest where you can spend times with your family and friends.. No one will disturb you except the beautiful nature...Stuff behavior is very very good.. Foods are also very good... I loved this place a lot..
