Monratino The Snow Roost

Monratino the snow roost actually changed the concept of homestay since they don't allow to access the kitchen.before booking they had a different version that we can avail the kitchen and since we have a baby we preferred homestay for cooking but when we reached we had to pay for the bed tea also even paying that much of amount being in a homestay,worst experience

We stayed in their 'Bluetail' room, it was amazing. The room was aesthetically decorated, the view from balcony is tremendous, room was mountain and valley view. The staffs are also very cooperative and helpful. You can get the access to the kitchen as well, pureit, microwave all are there which any guests can use. The hotel is top notch. Highly recommended....And 10 mins walking distance to mall road, which is also a good thing. But elderly people or people having difficulties in walking should avoid this place as you have to walk for 2-3 mins to reach the hotel and the road is totally slanting. But for young people, this place is heaven, go for it.

The rooms are very fine ☺️ more than amazing 😍 but the road to it is very weird😞 it's very downward so wid luggage impossible for us (city ppl) to go! But Ranjeet da is a nice person who helped us through it. Also know this that if you're looking for a quite environment this should be your option as this is atleast 25-30 mins away from the Mall, Darjeeling.

Worst stay ever. Disgusting place.hotel staff did not even clean the room. All bedsheets were used and stinking. People smoked and left cigarette in bathroom. Shady place with no amenities and Very Very Very far from Mal road . Hotel staff was not at all helping . Instead he had random girls coming and using other rooms for God knows what purpose. I will never recommend this place. Waste of money . We were stuck here as we already paid. Please. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL or CRAP ever ..

Special thanks to Ranjit, the caretaker, who was extremely genuine and helpful throughout our stay. Plus, it’s just a convenient 10-minute walk from Mall Road. Highly recommended!

Very nice stay, cozy room clean toilet Well behaved staff, very humble staff Little bit far from mall rode but the view from balcony make it worthy. They can provide food on demand and heating blanket also available. In one word very nice Homestay

The hotel was very clean. The room was aesthetic. The balcony view was awesome. Service was wow. Ranjeet Bhaiya helped us in every was possible. He was very nice and friendly. Should book without a second thought.

I absolutely loved staying at this homestay. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable with well maintained bathrooms. The staff were very kind and helpful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an affordable homestay in darjeeling with great views and good facilities.

The hotel is very good. 10min walking to darjiling rail station. 15min walking to mall road. Balkony view Just awesome. Staf room service very nice. Specially thanks Ranjit da. He is a very helpfull man all time.

It was pretty good

I want to express my sincere thanks to Monorations Snow Roost in Darjeeling for the excellent stay. The balcony view was the real standout — clear, wide, and honestly one of the best parts of the entire trip. A special mention goes to Ranjith, whose service was consistently solid. He was attentive, helpful, and made sure every request was handled without delay. Good staff makes a hotel experience worth remembering, and he definitely did that. Keep up the standard.
