The place was really very beautiful with great view of *Kanchanjangha, Teesta river,and many more*.The homestay was very beautiful and with beautiful views from the rooms.The behavior of the staffs was very nice.One should visit this place. It s almost like heaven.

We stayed in the homestay two days in September.Location of the homestay nice, particularly their balcony of top floor.Food quality is good & hygienic. Rooms are clean.Mr Niraj Rai is young lad also very helpful. Only disadvantage is wi fi connection is not available still now. Hope they will arrange as early as possible.Overall satisfied.

Very good..

Samthar was not in my plan and honestly I came to know about this place cause of Crystal Cottage's (Sillerygaon) owner Chiranjit. It is a very nice suggestion and we enjoyed the stay for one night a lot. The deck, the view, the seat in the nearby sharp turn. At night we were literally floating in the clouds and we could see and feel that. While the night sky was clear, Niraj (supervisor of the homestay) helped us to locate Darjeeling, Delo and Kalimpong with their amazing night lights in the dark canvas. The deck with pegs of rum and chandrabindu, anjan dutta's songs was telling us why we should make a pause in this fast paced life. The morning view of Kanchenjunga was mind blowing. We stared at that for almost two hours and were still not tired. Witnessing this in Monsoon, many will be jealous we know that. Niraj also helped us arrange a shared car for us. If we go to samthar again, this will be our stay for sure.
