I had a fantastic getaway in Zostel Homes Pedong. The host Asha was warm and welcoming, she will prepare home-made meals at a very reasonable (and minimal) price, got to taste lots of local authentic dishes made by her. Property location is outstanding, you can enjoy the view of the hills. If someone is looking for few peaceful and quiet days, this is the perfect place to consider.

Stayed here for 2 days and it was exactly the kind of hill getaway we needed. The views were absolutely beautiful, the place was quiet and peaceful, perfect for chilling and staying away from the crowd. The food was comforting and homely, also Didi cooked farm grown saag for us. Everything was affordable and felt totally worth it. And of course, Siri made the stay even cuter. Would definitely visit again!

Liked the view and ambience however the vibe which I expected was not there. Since this is a zostel property so I expected bonfire, activities which was not available here as shown in the property pictures.

Stayed at Zostel Homes Pedong, and it truly felt more like a warm homestay than a commercial property. The place is lovingly run by Asha, who manages everything herself with so much care. Her little daughter Kavya is incredibly sweet and adds a lot of warmth to the stay. And then there’s Sweety, the resident cat—hands down the friendliest cat I’ve ever met. If you like animals, you’ll feel right at home here. The food deserves a special mention. Everything was delicious and comforting, but the wai wai chat and aloo mimi are absolute must-tries. Simple, hearty, and made with a lot of love. The property itself is quiet, green, and perfect if you want to slow down, work peacefully, or just sit around doing nothing. This is not a party place—it’s for people who enjoy calm mornings, conversations, and a homely vibe. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a genuine, peaceful stay in Pedong.

A beautiful stay nestled in the serene Damsang Valley, away from the hustle and bustle of Pedong Bazaar. We had a stunning mountain view right from our room and were hosted by a wonderfully humble and warm family. The homemade food was delicious, and the price was very reasonable. It’s a perfect holiday spot for families looking for peace and comfort. We stayed here during Diwali and loved everything about our experience. Rating: 5/5 🌟

I booked this home stay from goibibo.. They did not provide any attached bathroom in the deluxe room.. And they did not mention it at the time of booking.. Even the geyser switch in the bathroom was not there... I had to call them repeatedly to turn it on.. The owner's behavior is not friendly ...food is average... experience was not good...

Those morning and nights at your place were just like cloudland. A highly recommended place if you want to spend quality time in a quiet way. So many nearby places to visit. You can hire a car/taxi and cover all notable places easily. Much cooler weather than kalimpong and siliguri. If you love hills and silence, this is one of the most recommended places for you. But a humble request, if you go there, don't destroy the peace of this place by playing loud music or shouting like a playground. Thank you.

I booked delux room in that homestay from Goibibo and I got a room without an attached bathroom. Secondly inside the bathroom there was no switch for geyser, every time I had to call the owner to switch on the geyser in that hill station where the temperature is low all day night.At the mid night it was not possible to call anyone so me and my family used cold water in maximum time. There was no electric kettle provided in the room. No backup for electricity. And the owner was not friendly to the guest. Experience was not good. Although the room was clean the food was good.

We wanted to spend a night at Pedong and saw this Zostel. It is located on the main road and has a parking nearby. The property is decorated with plants and flowers and we loved it. The owners were warm and welcoming and took care of each and every request. They allowed us for an early check-in as well. Food were priced at very affordable price and were very tasty. The terrace had a place to play TT carrom..

If you want to get lost in the middle of nature in North Bengal, then I would say that there can be no better search than this place. Love the hospitality provided Prajjwal and his family.

A beautiful stay in the lap of nature. Very peaceful environment. The owner is such a sweet person. Very humble. Very hospitable. The food is also very delicious and budget friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much. ❤️🌼

Recently visited Pedong for a night and decided to put up at Zostel Homes Pedong. Loved my stay here. The place is very aesthetically done up and rooms are decently sized. The main attraction of the place is the view from the terrace, it is truly breathtaking. Had a long long chat with the hosts and they were super nice and accomodating. Will be visiting soon!

Just right between Algara and Pedong, this place is a hidden gem if you are looking for a cheap place to stay with your partner. The rooms are well decorated with all the facilities, but small. The service is just great. The owner is probably into planting trees and activism related to it. The best part is the behaviour of the staffs. They are very humble. The food prices are very reasonable. Also, Sillerigaon is 5kms away straight walk (no uphill), the hiking trail is nicely made so you won't face any problem if you are planning for it. Lastly, I must mention the really small roadside dhaba(cafe) just outside this place, named Taste of Sumon's Hand, which sells 10 pieces of chicken momo in just 60 bucks and they taste amazing (even better than the momo we had at the Zostel).
