Beautiful homestay that truly feels like home ❤️
We had such a wonderful experience at this homestay in Sher Pattar. The location was simply perfect—surrounded by beautiful hills, greenery, and the peaceful charm of nature.
What made our stay special were the hosts. The entire family were incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming so we felt completely at home. The food was homely, fresh, and absolutely delicious, and the rooms were perfect.
The property itself has so much to explore—a beautiful view with a lovely sitting area, a farm where different kinds of vegetables are grown, a hill viewpoint, and a charming wooden bridge, which was definitely my favourite part. There’s also a beautiful little hilly stream nearby that adds to the whole experience.
One of the nicest things was being able to take a little piece of the place back home with us. We brought back plenty of fresh organic vegetables and organic dairy products from their farm, which made the stay even more memorable.
Overall, it was a peaceful, homely, and genuinely beautiful experience. If you’re looking for a place in Kalimpong off beat where you can slow down, enjoy nature, eat good food, and feel at home, I would definitely recommend this homestay. ❤️

The host Ajit vaiya and his family were friendly and made us feel at home. Specially their beautiful kid 'WINI', such a cute baccha ❤️.
A perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. You can visit Deepak vaiya and Indira vabi's small but beutiful nursery nearby.

The location is perfect for a calm and relaxed vacation. Hosts are gracious and kind enough to accommodate any requests. The views are amazing from this property. Reaching the last 1.5 kms is a bit of challenge due to the condition of the roads but it's worth the effort as it's away from tourist traps. Really amazing hosts and beautiful views from this property.

Room: The rooms and attached toilets are spacious and clean. Majestic View from the rooms enhances the beauty of the rooms even more.
Ambience: organic farming of makkai, muli etc enhances the naturality of the place. Jhula and wooden bridge over the farm are another beautiful attractions.
Food: they make the best rotis...all the foods are awesome but rotis can beat anything.
Behaviour: Most lovely and decent people can make anyone at home.
Therefore, it is a highly recommended place to visit ..
