Had an excellent stay for couple of days here. It felt like a proper homestay with warm and welcoming hosts and simple yet super tasty food. The rooms were basic but clean and the location was a bit away from the crowded area which we liked. Enjoyed it very much

We visited Khawas Homestay on 15th November 2025. Unfortunately, our experience was not up to the mark. There is no dedicated parking facility; only a common parking area is available. The rooms do not offer any scenic view—Kanchanjunga is visible only from the rooftop. Basic amenities were also lacking; there were no proper geyser facilities, and we were provided with only two mugs of hot water. Additionally, the behaviour of the owners was not very polite, which further impacted our stay. Overall, based on our experience, we were not satisfied with the service and facilities provided.

The place is ichhegaon and this homestay location is in extreme corner, from here you will be not able to see kanchanjanga, you can see the kanchanjanga from there roof.

Smelly room, the owner lady is too loud(annoying) behaving like a class teacher.They are very strict about the food menu and timing sometimes feels like school. The view from the room is awesome.

Bed size are ok but Smelly room, the owner lady is too annoying with us behaving like fellow . Their 2 cats pooping everywhere., I don’t like it..They are very strict about the food menu and food quantity and also bakwas food quality..The good things is view from the room is awesome.
