Everything about Heyagriva is just top notch. Paulzor brother is the owner of this beautiful homestay and just treats guest’s like family members.Binod bhai is the manager and cooks really delicious Nepali & Indian cuisines.We had our best days in Heyagriva Homestay and we recommend this place to one & all.

Fantastic Stay at Heyagriva ❤️ We had a wonderful stay at Heyagriva Homestay. They provided us with an excellent family room, which was perfect for a family with one or two children. The room was spacious, well-furnished, and featured a huge, comfortable bed that made our stay extremely pleasant. The owner is genuinely helpful and goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a comfortable experience. From arranging transportation and planning sightseeing tours to helping with transfers to the next destination, he was always available and supportive. His hospitality truly made a difference. The location is slightly away from the Mall Road area, but it can easily be reached on foot within 10–15 minutes, depending on your walking pace. There are also two major advantages of staying here: 1. The hotel terrace offers a stunning panoramic view of Mt. Kanchenjunga. 2. There is a lesser-known shortcut route to the homestay, allowing you to avoid the heavy traffic often seen on Darjeeling's roads. This becomes especially valuable during peak tourist seasons when traffic congestion can be overwhelming. As for the food, the meals were enjoyable, particularly breakfast and dinner. While traditional items like luchi or puri are not available, the continental breakfast served here is quite good. The sandwiches, in particular, were delicious. Overall, Heyagriva is a fantastic homestay—a true home away from home in the heart of busy Darjeeling. I would also like to mention Amit Ji, the associated driver, who is a very polite, reliable, and helpful person. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Darjeeling. If possible, try to book a room on the top floor for the best experience.

Superb hospitality, very friendly host, out of the box care for the pet which accompanied us. Very supportive in case of any issue.

There is no negative which I found in this homestay. This is the best homestay I'd say in all of Darjeeling. Thanks to Paulzar Bhaiya and Dipak Bhaiya to make mine and my family's experience a wonderful and a joyful experience. The view is brilliant no wonder and the fooding experience which the homestay provides is beautiful. During our last night at the stay, Paulzar Bhaiya offered us Nepali Cuisine which was served marvelous and every single item was delicious. Paulzar bhaiya also ensured we get cabs for local sight seeing or if we need to go to any other spot to make our holiday trip hassle free. The best part of this homestay is that this is pet friendly, they themselves have 4 little cute dogs and our pet enjoyed a lot during the stay. They even played with our pet when we were outside to make sure he enjoyed. Conclusion: If you are a pet owner or not and looking for a homestay in Darjeeling near Mall road which is 6 minutes of walking distance, I'll say come here and enjoy their hospitality. Personally, don't stay in a hotel in Darjeeling, come to Heyagriva and make your vacation a memorable one.

Great Homestay, friendly atmosphere, great service

Accommodation, food quality & service was excellent. Behaviour & interaction from Mr. Paulzor & Vinod bhai was really good. We felt like a family during our stay. If someone is dog lover, will enjoy more. Darjeeling Mall is around 10-15 mins walking distance from Homestay and homestay rooms are at fourth floor. So, it was little bit of problem to access for aged family members.

The best place to stay at Darjeeling specially those who want to stay in a homely atmosphere with great host like Palzar bro.. The entire team’s worm welcome will fill you with joy. Binod bhai the always smiling person was there in every second we needed him. Great peaceful location within 1 km from mall road. Highly highly recommend for everyone. Food is also excellent.

This was my second stay at Heyagriva. There is no better host in Darjeeling than Paulzor, his family, his staff, and his dogs. Absolutely recommend his place to anyone looking to relax without concern or judgement!

Good rooms and good behaviour by the owner. It is 15 minutes walking distance from the darjeeling mall . View is good but only if the weather is good or you will not see kanchenjunga or tiger hill. Food is too much costly and taste is okay okay
