My name is Arindam... I have been visiting Meghna's homestay for a while. Like others, I wouldn't say it is nice or good or anything. I am a solo traveller, and I feel it's like a HOME. A HOME with a TRUE SOUL. It is not only for the mesmerising food and hospitality (which can be experienced in many places); it is a place of love and affection👌❤️ Aunty (Meghna's mother) is very sweet and strict at the same time. She will feed you because she makes the food herself and puts immense love and warmth. Meghna is a lazy girl. She only comes out to greet, advise, and offer her true warmth and goodness. She doesn't do much work because she is the PRINCESS at her place. I have only seen her busy with her nursery. Oh yes, she has a beautiful nursery adjacent to her place. Full of beautiful known and unknown (to me) flowers, cacti, wild plants, and many more. She talks with nature. She becomes happy when she comes into close contact with them. She smiles gently behind those petals. The night and the evening are like pomp and grandeur. Right in front is the Kanchenjunga mountain range without any obstacles, and the valley has wide open arms to embrace you. They have puppies and dogs, and I can die for them. One thing I have learned very closely from them is that they don't worry much, they take life one day at a time, they know how to love and respect, they are hardworking and love to do their own things by themselves. They are not techno-savvy and believe in mother nature. They are not greedy nor selfish like the city. They smell and dwell in nature and stay happily in the mountain range. They are very pure in their feelings and are biased at times. If they like you, you are next to them, but if they don't, they won't ever. They will offer you love and kindness in their own way, so if you are smart and able to accept the law of nature, you will be blessed and happy. Whenever my heart gets loaded, I run to them🙂 I have a bond with them. This bond has been created in both ways. Whenever I embrace Aunty, I feel peace and happiness. She calls me mad. Her many stories have an essence of pure simplicity. I love and respect them a lot. To me, one should visit there with an open heart and a clear mind. One must feel rather than taking pictures and writing blogs. One must live inside their heart and realise that life can be very simple with the minimal. Life can be simple and peaceful without much want and need. This is my true and honest observation in all these years. That's all… for now. 🙏
