The Five Pillars

Shelter

high confidence3.4 / 5

Water

medium confidence2.3 / 5

Hearth

high confidence4.2 / 5
"Most guests deeply appreciate the warm host family, sincere staff, and freshly prepared farm-grown organic meals, though larger groups seeking to party late faced rigid curfews and friction with management."

Path

Honestly, I really love this place! It’s such a perfect little getaway from Darjeeling…close by, warmer, and the weather is always so pleasant. Even when it rains, it’s still nice. The property is beautiful and the food is always so good (maybe it’s the post-swim hunger). BUT the pool water is a whole different story. 😭 It tastes so sour and literally burns our eyes…we can’t even keep them open underwater for a second. And please don’t tell me it’s “just chlorine” because I’ve swum in pools all over the country and abroad, and this is definitely not normal chlorine water. The pool looks clean, but the water quality really needs some serious attention, especially since it’s open to locals and gets a lot of use. Also, if you’re staying at the resort, or paying for the rooms…pool access should honestly be FREE. Paying for the room and paying extra for the pool feels a little ridiculous when most resorts include it. Other than that, I genuinely love the place and would definitely come back

Room service is pathetic. Every time we have to call up the room service for basic facilities. Fan is not working in the room also for AC they have charged extra.

An Absolute Hidden Gem for Gatherings, Nature Lovers and Swimming Pool. We recently hosted a group meet-up at Jamuney Country Side Farm Stay, and it exceeded all our expectations! If you are looking for a peaceful escape away from the hustle and bustle of city life, this is hands down one of the best spots to visit in the region. Here is what made our experience truly unforgettable: * Awesome Ambiance & Location: Nestled right in the lap of nature, the farm stay offers stunning views, crisp countryside air, and a tranquil atmosphere. It provided the ultimate backdrop for our meet-up—surrounded by lush greenery and wide-open spaces that instantly make you feel relaxed. * Warm & Attentive Hospitality: The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our group was comfortable. From making sure our seating arrangements for the gathering were spot-on to catering to every little need with a warm smile, their genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. * Delicious Local Cuisine: The food was a major highlight of the day! Fresh, flavorful, and prepared with a distinct local touch, every meal felt wholesome and satisfying. It was a massive hit with everyone in the group. * Perfect for Groups & Events: The layout of the farm stay is exceptionally well-suited for get-togethers, family reunions, and community meet-ups. There is ample space to converse, take in the scenic views, and create lasting memories without feeling crowded. Whether you're planning a group gathering, a weekend getaway, or simply want to unwind surrounded by serene landscapes, Jamuney Country Side Farm Stay is the ideal destination. Highly recommended! We can't wait to visit again.

This is a wonderful property located in a remote, offbeat area that most people wouldn’t even imagine. The property is quite spacious, and the swimming pool was really nice. The rooms were decent but definitely have room for improvement. One of our rooms didn’t have a ceiling fan, and the washrooms could be maintained better. The Wi-Fi had connectivity issues, but that’s understandable given the remote location. There were occasional electricity issues as well, but nothing too inconvenient. They have their own farm, cattle, and other livestock, so most of the food served is organic. The lunch was delicious, and the dinner was good too. However, the breakfast was below average and could be improved. The owner is a genuinely nice person, and all the staff members were polite, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. They also have parking available. Overall, it’s a great place to stay if you’re looking to disconnect from the city and enjoy nature. With a few improvements, the experience could be even better.

We visited this resort last Thursday and enjoyed the swimming pool. The pool was clean and nice, but it seemed that too much acid or pool chemicals had been used in the water. The water felt very sour, and our eyes became irritated after swimming. Please check the chemical balance and use a lower amount of acid to ensure a safer and more comfortable experience for guests.

It's a great experience. Loved the trekking towards the Rangit river. Highly recommended for visiting the place. But it's little bit difficult for self driving from Darjeeling to Jamuni. You can enjoy trekking, birding and without doing anything 😊

Everything was great the place, hospitality and food but I would be better if the pool could be maintained a bit many dead bugs and flees were in the water please look into the matter. Overall this place is amazing.

A nice place for nature lover though this place has been has been artificially created on a pristine environment and left half done but still a nice place to spent few moments here. One can enjoy the flowing little Rangit River and can move upto the river bed, can take few good snaps, and can seat for while on the boulders to relish the himalayan river in its purest form. A canteen is there with in the park where tea and snacks are available at reasonable price. The journey to Jamuni from Darjeeling is a bit exciting because of steepness of slope but at the same time it is a awesome experience as the road passed through tea gardens, little hamlets, orchards, farms, orange orchards. The environment changes drastically from cold to hot. The Jamuni garden spreaded over 13 acres of land and surrounded by tea gardens, lash green forests, misty mountains and little Rangit River make the scenic view mesmerizing and picturesque.
