Great experience, great view, great food.

If minus review were available I would give that. worst ever experience. Almost everything were worst. Manager cancelled booking and asked offline settlement. 😡

I stayed there in end of January when the weather was very cold and I have got cold and wasn’t in a good health. The room temperature was the s I stayed there at the end of January when the weather was very cold, and I got a cold a few days before arriving at the house and wasn’t in good health. The room temperature was the same as outside and there was no heating system in the house. My friend asked the owner for an electrical heater and the owner told him he had to pay an additional 300 rupees to rent the heater. The owner wasn’t in the house and the one who was resident was a Nepali youth who was not able to speak one single English word. He was absolutely mute during three days that I stayed there. Anytime I wanted to ask him anything, he tried to call the owner and the reception of his mobile phone was very poor, and we couldn’t manage to talk together on the phone. As I got a bad cold, I needed to get hot water and there were no cattle in the room. The cattle in their kitchen was broken, and the Nepali guy had to hold it with his hand for a long time to make it work, and it was a terrible situation. The room was cleaned, and bedsheets were cleaned too. Fortunately, the owner put a couple of warm blankets on the bed, otherwise the situation would be worse. The toilet was not working properly and one of the pipes was leaking. The room has an electric water heater, and you have to put the water in a bucket and use it by hand to clean yourself or wash your hand. There was no soap or any shampoo or toilet paper in the house. There was only one towel in the room. We saw the owner once when he came to the house supposedly, and he had a good time and explained the attentions of Darjeeling to us. I have no idea about the other prices of to hotels or home stay around to recommend or not recommend this place and just explain what happened for me. I paid 800 rupees cash for the room.

Worst experience The owner of the hotel took commission from the cab driver making it more expensive for us and the manager is very non cooperative we have asked for tea at morning but he keep sleeping and we checkout. You can get lot more good hotel at this price near mall.

इस होटल में कभी भी स्टे मत कीजिए इस होमस्टे में भर पेट खाना नहीं मिलता है और शिकायत करने पर भी कुछ नहीं होता है। इस तरह के घटिया होटल में आप अगर एक रात भी गुजार ले तो आपका पूरा टूर बेकार होना निश्चित है। बहुत ही घटिया होमस्टे है।

Nice clean room. Near to Mall road. Cooperative owner. Beautiful view from the terrace. For a homestay price per person is little bit on the higher side without including food. Rest all good.
