The Studio Darjeeling

One whole day My experience was terrible 😩. For an entire day, we had no electricity, which meant cooking was impossible, as only induction avilable 😡. We were starving and had to spend a lot of money on overpriced food from elsewhere 💸. was no electricity and couldn't cook food. We were hungry. Had to purchase expensive food from outside

A hidden gem in Darjeeling. The property offers the perfect combination of convenience, comfort, and privacy. Everything is within walking distance, which saves a lot of time during the busy tourist season. The hosts were professional, friendly, and extremely helpful. Would love to stay here again.

Really enjoyed my stay here! The location is excellent. Right in the heart of Darjeeling, with Chowrasta, markets, cafes, and major attractions all within walking distance. Considering how crowded Darjeeling gets during peak season, staying here saved us a lot of time and hassle with taxis. The 2 BHK apartment was clean, comfortable, and had all the basic amenities we needed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, guiding us through everything and making sure we had a smooth stay. Overall, a great place to stay in Darjeeling and one I would happily recommend to others.

AIRBNB should ban this Property. Very disappointing experience.!! We stayed for 3 days and not once did any cleaning staff come. Instead, we had to dispose trash bags outside and were expected to clean the floor ourselves. They self declare themselves a so-called self sustaining unit. They are from different universes. They thought/magine lot of things but never told or write anywhere. They are very limited to Darjeeling have not any experience whats happening arround the world. On top of that, the host spoke rudely when we raised the issue his language was so harsh . Seems like he doesn't know manner how to speak with guests. I could have slapped him if he were infront of me. It felt unreasonable to expect guests to maintain the room exactly like check-in condition without providing any cleaning service during the stay. I'm attaching few photos of our checkout day, one can compare it. Only the floor of the kitchen area which is generally prone to be watery. Hospitality and communication were both poor. Would not recommend if you expect basic guest support and respectful behavior. My anger has not settled down yet. Trust me !!!

Cons- 1. KITCHEN- Utensils in the kitchen are old, scratches are there in nonstick Kadai and Tawa. Highly carcinogenic. Plastics plates have been given, these too have many scratches. Fungus in Chopping Board. No Vegetable Piller was there. No basic item was there like salt etc. 2. WATER- No Water Purifier, only 4 sealed bottle of 1 liter provided in Day one. 3. ROOM- Only one room was good the other one is Damp, Moisty floor, very cold, colder than outside atmosphere. 4. HYGIENE- Though the property was clean in Day first. We have not seen any cleaning staff. Host has not called for the same. Basically you have to do self cleaning. You have to put trash bags by own hand to the outside green bucket. Red blankets in the room was smelly, have not been washed since months. Totally unhygienic. 5. ROAD- Very stiff and narrow only one vehicle can pass. It was very hard to bring daily essential like water bottle etc from local market. 6. BATHROOM- Cover of the PAN is loose. PROS- 1. Close to Mall road. That's it. *Recommendation- Suitable for 1 day stay only if you don't have any other option.*
