The place is really good. Best hospitality, the owners and staffs are really polite. The food is very tasty and hygenic. The view is ethereal. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. Power backup is there. Highly recommend.

Nested 8km downhill from Darjeeling, this beautiful homestay is not only well maintained but also extremely clean with spacious rooms in their new block. The owners are friendly and kind but their staff members Rakhi, Poonam and Biren deserve a special mention for their warm hospitality and homely food. Loved the stay!

Very good homestay. We visited Tukvar in last December. Dibeshji is very friendly and his wife and son are also good in nature. His son accompanied us during our visit at local sight and also in Darjeeling. Bhabiji, the wife of Dibeshji provides us home made food which is very tasty. All staffs are good. The new building room is very good, we enjoy the Sleeping Buddha through out the days. Thanx to Dibeshji and family. I'll visit again in coming future.

The stay at Mitma homestay in Tukvar was memorable. The place is very close to Darjeeling yet a peaceful place with tea gardens all around. The rooms were cozy, neat & well maintained. We stayed in a four bedded room which is a large room with a balcony having direct view of the hills. On a clear day one can have an unobstructed view of Kanchenjunga peak. The hosts were polite and warm. The food was simple yet tasty. I will highly recommend this place for anyone enjoying solitude and appreciating the nature.

Our stay at Mitma Homestay, located in Tukvar near Darjeeling, was truly memorable. One of the biggest advantages of this homestay is its location right beside the main road, making it very convenient, especially for elderly guests who may have difficulty walking uphill. The owners are incredibly warm, friendly, and courteous, and the house helpers are equally kind and attentive. Since we were the only family staying there during our visit, they thoughtfully prepared meals according to our preferences. The homemade momos and thukpa were absolutely delicious and are a must-try! The rooms and bathrooms, especially in the new building, are neat, clean, and well-maintained. The terrace offers breathtaking views—you can enjoy the lush tea gardens, the beautiful valley, and the majestic Kanchenjunga all at once. At night, the twinkling lights from the Sikkim hills create a magical atmosphere. If you're a pet lover, you'll definitely enjoy the friendly furry companions at the homestay. Darjeeling town is also just a short drive away, making it easy to visit in the evening for sightseeing, shopping, or enjoying the local cafés. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Mitma Homestay. The warm hospitality, delicious food, comfortable accommodation, and stunning views made our trip even more special. I would happily recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay near Darjeeling.
