This is the most beautiful place because here much silance is there. No problem of Traffic, Pollution. People are of here are also so friendly. I spent 3 days here and I had really enjoyed my vacation...... Thank you Sir/Mam 🌸

We had an excellent stay at Ratna Homestay in Darjeeling with our family. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the view from the room was absolutely beautiful. Waking up to the scenic surroundings made our trip even more memorable. The food was delicious and felt homely, and the hospitality was outstanding throughout our stay. Uncle aunty were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help, making us feel like part of the family. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and peaceful place to stay in Darjeeling with great food and warm hospitality, I highly recommend Ratna Homestay. We would definitely love to stay here again!

গত ১৫ই মে ২০২৬ আমি ও আমার কিছু বন্ধু মিলে ডুয়ার্স এবং দার্জিলিং এর কিছু জায়গা ঘুরে এলাম নিজের গাড়ি নিয়ে। সর্বত্রই হোম স্টে গুলো তে সুন্দর আতিথেয়তা পেয়েছি।পেশক 11th mile rode ' রত্না হোম স্টে 'আমাদের কাছে বেশ কিছু টা আলাদা লেগেছে কারন সুরেন ভাইয়া ও তার মিসেস ববিতা very soft minded person. একটা ঘটনা বলি যখন আমরা room book করার জন্য formalities করছিলাম ওনাদের dining hall এ বোসে তখন বেশ কিছু টাকা advance করার কথা ওই bill এ লেখা ছিল এবং ওই table এ ওনাদের mobile ও ছিল আমরা lover's meet point দেখতে যাওয়ার জন্য এতটাই bussy ছিলাম যে advance টাকা তো দিইনি এবং ভুল করে তাদের mobile টাও নিয়ে চোলে গেছি এই ঘটনা টা আমাদের কারো র মাথা তেই নেই। প্রায় আমাদের ফিরে আসার সময় হোয়েছে তখন হঠাৎ unknown ring tone শুনে আমরা ফোনটা receive করি এবং তখন জানতে পারি আমরা খুব বড় mistake কোরেছি।But ওনাদের কাছ থেকে তারপর যে অসাধারণ সুন্দর ব্যবহার পেয়েছি সেটা আমার মনে হয়না অন্য কোনো হোম স্টে র থেকে পেতাম। ওদের hospitality র কোনো তুলনা হয় না ।তাই আমি বোলবো একবার হলেও যদি কেউ দার্জিলিং যান অবশ্যই Ratna home stay তে থাকবেন।ওরা খুব homy এবং good person.

Located near the best views of Lamahatta with excellent, clean facilities and highly affordable rates. The good things are that the manager of Ratna Homestay is friendly nature, behavior is too good & the foods of this hotel is too Good.

Our recent stay at Ratna Homestay was truly memorable and heartwarming. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such genuine warmth by the host and hostess that it immediately felt like a home away from home. Their hospitality was exceptional—always attentive, caring, and ready to help with a smile. What stood out the most was their incredibly cordial and homely behavior, which made our entire experience so comfortable and relaxing. A special mention must go to the food, lovingly prepared by Madam. Every meal was absolutely delicious, rich in flavor, and had that authentic homemade touch that you rarely find. It was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our stay. We left feeling truly overwhelmed by their kindness and warmth, and we would highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful and heartfelt experience.

Ratna Homestay — what do I even say… Some experiences are just difficult to put into words, and this was one of them. We were a group of six—ages ranging from 6 to 78—reaching Peshok on the evening of March 11th, right in the middle of a relentless, torrential rain. The kind where the sky doesn’t just pour—it unleashes. By the time we arrived around 4 p.m., it was thundering, lightning flashing, and honestly, a little frightening to even step out of the car. And then something beautiful happened. Without a second thought, Host Sir handed me his own umbrella, gave his raincoat to my elder sister, and calmly guided us to get everyone safely inside. There was no hesitation, no formality—just pure concern, like family would show. The moment we stepped in, Host Ma’am smiled and said, “Let me make some hot tea for all of you.” That one sentence… it changed everything. In that cold, rain-soaked moment, that cup of hot first-flush tea—grown in their own garden, as we later found out—felt like a warm hug. It wasn’t just tea, it was comfort, it was care, it was the beginning of something truly special. What followed was even more heart-touching—snacks made with love, endless cups of tea and coffee, and a completely customised homemade dinner that didn’t feel like “food served”… it felt like food shared. Every bite had warmth in it. One moment that I’ll never forget—despite ongoing construction and limited parking space, Host Sir moved his own Bolero out to the open road, just so our rented car could be safely parked inside. I didn’t even know how to react. I was honestly just… speechless. It wasn’t a gesture—it was kindness in its purest form. There was nothing “professional” or “formal” about this stay. And that’s exactly what made it so special. It was all so natural, so genuine, so heartfelt. Staying here didn’t feel like a trip. It felt like going to a place where you already belong. Mornings were peaceful, slow, and calming—the kind where you just sit, breathe, and take in the quiet beauty around you. The views from the rooms and balcony were simply soothing to the soul. Host Ma’am’s cooking deserves a special mention—you can literally feel the love in her food. Simple, homely meals, but deeply satisfying in a way that stays with you. And Host Sir—always there with a warm smile, making sure everything is just right, without ever making it feel like an obligation. Places like this are rare. Very rare. You don’t feel like a customer here. You feel like someone who is genuinely welcomed, cared for, and remembered. I left with a full heart… and a quiet promise to myself— I will come back. Without a second thought. ❤️

Suren Uncle, his family and son are very very cordial, approachable and one of the best hosts I have ever came accross.

The homestay is very comfortable and conveniently located right on the main road, making it easy to reach. The rooms are cozy and well-maintained. The food is freshly prepared on request and is absolutely delicious; Sir and Ma’am are extremely helpful and happily accommodate any specific cooking preferences or requests. The amenities are adequate, with electricity and water backup well taken care of. The hosts are very accommodating to any additional requirements. Ma’am and Sir truly follow Atithi Devo Bhava and made us feel like we were in our second home, away from home. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay. My parents and I are very satisfied with our stay.

We spent our two days holiday in Ratna homestay and undoubtedly this is one of the best places to enjoy your holiday. From room condition to food,everything is top notch. Both uncle and aunty is very friendly and helpful.

I stayed here with my wife on 27th August '25. No wonder Uncle and Aunty (the owner of this homestay) was very very well behaving, their hospitality and warm welcome was amazingly good. They treated us like their own children and the authentic taste of the food they provided was top notch.

We stayed at this beautiful and welcoming homestay in Peshok village on 19th June, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Although we arrived late, Aunty was incredibly kind and still prepared a delicious lunch for us — and let me tell you, her daal is out of this world! If you're planning a visit, make sure to request Aunty's special daal — it's a must. Both Uncle and Aunty treated us like their own children. We shared so many laughs, and Uncle even played an instrument for us, making our evening all the more special. I've stayed at many hotels and homestays, but this one stood out because of the warmth, love, and genuine hospitality we received. The view from our room was absolutely stunning — the perfect cherry on top of a wonderful stay. I strongly recommend anyone visiting Darjeeling, especially those who enjoy offbeat and peaceful places, to spend at least a night here. We love you Aunty & Uncle, see you again!

আজ অবধি আমার অভিজ্ঞতায় সেরা হোমস্টে। হোস্ট ভদ্রলোক ও ভদ্রমহিলার ব্যবহার অতুলনীয় সুন্দর। বাড়ির বাইরে বাড়ির মতন ব্যবহার পেয়েছি আমরা। খরচও বেশ কেতাদুরস্ত।
