The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, while the hospitality of the hosts was warm, friendly, and welcoming. The homemade food was delicious and gave an authentic taste of the local culture. The serene atmosphere, stunning sunrise views, and genuine care shown by the hosts made my stay memorable. The place is beautiful and if you enjoy the peaceful nature, you will absolutely love it. The house is beautiful and the surrounding area is rich in avifauna. Takdah is a beautiful but the experience of living in Meera Homestay made it special and an unforgettable experience.

The house, lovingly built by the father’s own hands, sits just below the main road in a small mountain village where everyone knows each other. The rooms are clean and comfortable, there’s always good hot water, and the food is homemade and delicious. DJ and Darana were incredibly generous in sharing their culture and stories; we had long, joyful conversations that made us feel part of their world. The surrounding landscape is breathtaking, and the locals’ advice helped us discover the real Takdah — peaceful, authentic, and full of charm. It’s not a luxurious place, but the true luxury is sharing time with this family. Everything a traveler needs is there — comfort, warmth, and a sense of belonging. When we left, their parents gave us a blessing, a moment that truly touched us. Takdah itself is beautiful, but sharing it with them made our experience unforgettable.

Meera Homestay is an excellent place to stay with your family or friends. The family operating the homestay are very friendly and polite. The food is superb and my daughter loved their momos. If you are looking for a peaceful and no noise place, then, go no further. Recommended for seniors too. Rooms are cozy and good.
