We visited Dumzon Homestay, Tinchuley in the first week of June 2026, and it was truly a memorable experience. If you are looking for a peaceful stay away from city noise, surrounded by forests and the beauty of nature, this place is perfect.
The best part of the stay was the amazing natural atmosphere — waking up with the sounds of nature, fresh mountain air, and clouds all around. At times, the clouds literally entered our rooms, which was a stunning and unforgettable experience. ☁️🌿
The food quality deserves a special mention. The meals were simple, fresh, and felt just like homemade food. Our group of 20 people enjoyed every meal and everyone was very happy with the hospitality and taste.
For anyone planning a Tinchuley trip, I would definitely suggest keeping at least 2 days for Dumzon Homestay to truly enjoy the peaceful environment and beauty of the place.
A big thank you to the hosts for making our stay so comfortable and memorable. ❤️
Highly recommended for families, nature lovers, and anyone who wants to experience the real beauty of the hills. 🌄✨
Beutiful view from room balcony.
Tinchuley Dumzon Homestay is a beautiful place with an amazing location. The people there are incredibly kind, caring, and welcoming. The food is delicious, and the rooms are spotless and comfortable. I explored many places throughout Darjeeling, but this is the place I miss the most. I can't wait to visit again soon. And of course, I miss Haru too! ❤️

Very beautiful Homestay and aunty and uncle behaviour is So good 😊
Nestled in the midst of trees and quietness that people can't find in towns or cities, the homestay was well furnished and well maintained. The food was delicious and comforting while the snacks and tea made our chilly evenings and early mornings warm. Loved the ambiance and the hosts. Worth the price.
We had an amazing experience there. Warm and hospitable people welcomed us and the rooms were wonderful as well.
Would have to praise the food there too.
6 bikers, on an epic trip and it was made even more memorable by our stay at the Dumzon homestay.
The rooms are huge, with two large beds, attached balcony, and a clean toilet with geyser. The common area has enough space to spend time leisurely. There is also a separate area for the bonfire. We had six bikes and had no issues reaching the place or to park.
Food is great, tasty and the veggies are homegrown.
The owners are available to answer all your queries and help any way possible with a smile.
The cherry on top is Aru, their pet dog. Keep the door closed or Aru might just take a leisurely run
One suggestion for the owners, the balcony doesn't offer unobstructed views of the kanchenjunga. Maybe clearing the background will help.
This place is definitely recommended !
Our stay at Tinchuley Dumzon Homestay was nothing short of amazing! The hospitality of the hosts was exceptional—they truly made us feel at home. A special mention to their adorable pet dog, Aaru, who stole our hearts and made our experience even more memorable.
The homestay itself is well-maintained, cozy, and surrounded by serene natural beauty. The food was delicious and prepared with so much love and care. The hosts went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay.

The homestay is perfectly located in a quiet, serene area.. The views of the surrounding hills Specially KANCHANJUNGA and valleys are simply breathtaking.
They are some of the kindest and most welcoming people I've ever met. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

We had visited this property in the month of November and had a nice stay for a night. The room we had put up in was clean and tidy. Fresh bedsheets along with blankets were provided. The attached bathroom with geyser facility was very much helpful considering the cold climate over there.
Food was home cooked, did charm our taste buds! Hosts were very cordial during our entire stay, had helped us arrange a quick sightseeing tour within no time.
The pet dog 'Haru' will surely make your stay even more memorable. Would always want to come back here again some time.
❤️ I'll visit again
