The owner’s warm hospitality and genuine behavior were deeply heart-touching. You aren’t treated like a temporary guest, but rather like an old friend returning home. Every interaction was filled with authentic care, thoughtful touches, and a level of service that feels rare to find these days.

Aaravi Garden Homestay is truly a little paradise in Kalimpong. Set amidst beautifully maintained, lush green lawns, colourful flowers and stunning mountain views, the property has a wonderfully peaceful and homely charm. The rooms are spacious, cozy and thoughtfully maintained. The hosts were exceptionally warm, kind and generous, making our stay feel genuinely special. The homemade food was equally comforting and delicious. One of the most fascinating things about the property is its 70–80-year-old giant cactus, a beautiful piece of living history. And then there’s Luffy, the sweetest and gentlest host you could ask for, along with his adorable furry friends like Goldy. A stay filled with nature, warmth, good food and beautiful memories. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and soulful escape in Kalimpong. ❤️

Absolutely beautiful stay, just about 30 minutes from the main town. The host, the place, and the views were all amazing. If you’re looking for a calm and peaceful stay, this is easily a 10/10. The food was amazing, the hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, and I genuinely had a great time here. The rooms felt a little small to me, but considering that this is a homestay, it was still perfectly comfortable for two people. The road to the homestay is also absolutely fine for most of the way. It’s only the last 600–700 metres that are a bit of an off-road stretch, which might be slightly challenging if you’re coming in a low-clearance car or are not used to hill roads. Otherwise, it shouldn’t be much of an issue. Just something to keep in mind before you visit. And of course, I absolutely loved the pets there. ❤️ This is an honest review, and overall, we had a great, great time. We stayed for three nights and honestly could have stayed even longer. If you’re looking to spend a few peaceful days in or around Kalimpong, I can easily recommend this place. Absolutely loved our stay.

We chose Aaravi Garden Homestay to escape the chaos of Kolkata and spend some real quality time as a family — and it turned out to be so much more than just a stay. From the moment we arrived, Loopy (the adorable German Shepherd) and the other friendly dogs welcomed us like we belonged there. The warmth from Prayas and Anusha made it feel less like a homestay and more like visiting family. The beautiful 70-year-old cactus at the entrance somehow sets the tone for the entire place — rooted, calm, and full of character. The rooms are clean, aesthetic, and open into a cozy lawn with a lovely sitting area. The food is simple, fresh, and filled with warmth — you can literally taste the care in every bite. The dining deck overlooking the valley is just magical. But what truly made this trip unforgettable were the moments — my son playing with soap bubbles on the lawn, the sound of birds all around, and sharing a quiet drink and a heartfelt conversation with my father. We came here looking for peace and family time… and left feeling more connected, relaxed, and grateful. This isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a place you feel. Highly recommended ❤️

Our stay here felt like being at a home away from home. The hospitality was top-notch, and the owners went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The home-cooked meals (specially Momos) were delicious and prepared with so much love. The rooms were exceptionally clean, hygienic, and cozy. If you want authentic Kalimpong vibe, this is the place to be!

A hidden gem! The location is breathtakingly peaceful, surrounded by nature. Our room had a fantastic view, and the hospitality was exceptional. We were treated to the best local, homemade meals every day- specially the Momo🤌🏻which made the experience unforgettable. Friendly hosts, cozy vibes, and great food—we can’t wait to come back.
