What a beautiful place and what wonderful people. The view from the rooms is to die for. Waterfall sounds on both sides and absolute bliss. Organic home cooked meals from the back garden and such a homely environment.

Located in the quietude of the mountains, Sidharth and Suprina’s little abode is more than just an escape from the chaos of the city, it’s an experience shaped by their warmth and hospitality. Sidharth’s endless stories and engaging conversations have a way of drawing you in, and one could only get enough of Suprina’s home made food served with so much passion and love, it makes one feel home away from home. Together, they create a space that truly makes one c feel like coming back, time and again.

There may be many places with proximity to nature, but this place gave us truly the peace , tranquility and natural paradise we were looking for. It may be a bit difficult to find but once there the hospitality of the hosts, the delicious food they prepare and the beauty of the property just embraces you like a warm embrace. Definitely worth multiple visits if Nature and tranquillity are the things you are looking for.

I stayed here for 13 days on a solo trip. Had the most amazing time. This place is a hidden gem 💎 Sid and his wife Suprina were wonderful hosts and their son Vedarth is very friendly and polite. The food was excellent. Both veg and non veg dishes which were prepared by Sid and Suprina was simple and delicious. Best place to destress and it feels like you are living in a forest. I will definitely be back again soon. Highly recommended if you enjoy nature and a peaceful stay.

Peaceful Escape, Delicious Food! "Kalimpong Adventure Camp offers a peaceful escape for groups, solo travelers, and families. The serene nature and fantastic food – light on oil and spices – are major highlights. Highly recommended!"

We rang in the new year at this hidden gem just outside Kalimpong and had a most amazing few days at the Kalimpong Village Retreat. Siddharth and Suprina were the most amazing hosts - it was like staying at a close friend's farm house! We were served some amazingly delicious, locally grown fres fare. Suprina, a special shout out for the 'water cress salad'! A special thank you to Anita Bhaujju for the wonderful service.

I don't have anything to say other than saying that this camp is T.R.A.S.H. In the calls with the owner, he said that there would be a kitchen, but no there wasn't one. Thought we would see the Kanchenjunga from here, but all there was were trees and plants. We had 7 people and thought we would all stay together, but they gave us rooms that were like so far away from each other. And yes I forgot that the entry was so dangerous, we were about to fall. They just said they don't even have room service. The bedrooms were not even done with the cleaning and the owner said that we didn't make it because we thought that you would take the room that is upstairs, but aren't they supposed to make all the rooms before the customers come? Absolutely horrible. The entire scenario is just a jungle. Also the "camp" was so expensive, ₹16000. Don't EVER think about purchasing the "camp".

Sid is an excellent host. He made us very welcome. Showed us around the area and gave us advice on nearby attractions. He also treated us to his home cooking using local produce. Sid has a little helper, Anita, who is always full of smiles. The homestay has large, comfortable rooms with beautiful views of the surrounding valley. I would definitely recommend staying at the Kalimpong Village Retreat. I look forward to returning here someday.

We stayed with Sid and family for three nights. His retreat is set in a beautiful location outside of the city. The approach to the accommodation from the road is done a path with steps. From here, you can see the rice terraces and beauty around you. The bedroom was spacious and extremely comfortable, with a large bathroom with plentiful hot water. A kettle in the room, which was nice for evening or morning coffee on the balcony. There's a lovely common area with sofas and dining area. All our meals were absolutely delicious, we got some recipes for family Nepalese meals too. Sid took us for a walk down to the brook and an evening stroll. The sharing taxis enabled us to visit Deolo Park and the Monastery. We would highly recommend this tranquil relaxing homestay.
