The location and view of this homestay is very good in Rishop. The behaviour of the staffs is very good .Food was average .
But there is a problem in the owner. The owner didn't picked up phone when called over phone multiple times in the morning . After reaching the homestay at 2:30 pm with advance booking , we had to convince them , give proof of our booking and wait for 10 minute .Then they allowed us in room . The owner didn't informed staffs about our arrival .They started cooking after our arrival .Lunch was served after one and half hour after our arriva at 4 pm . We waited with patience without showing any grievance .
I neglected the issue and focused on enjoying the stay . But next morning , the owner sent staffs multiple times to advise us to check out early so that the owner can accommodate other valued guests who are supposed to come on that day .Though , other 4-5 room was unoccupied on that day .
Though the check out time was at 11:00am , request for check out started from 9:00am . We eventually , checked out at 10: 30 am .
So , in short, it is a great home stay , run by not so good owner.
If you want a peaceful place,then you should go there definitely
Location is very good, Rooms are average, Food quality is average. Staffs are very much professional...
The room was awesome.
This is a paradise for birding. You can find a lot of birds (fire-tailed sunbird, black bird, rose finch, Leiothrix etc.) in the premises itself.
Prakash ji and his brother will guide you for birding.
In terms of food, the taste was awesome.
Generally one share car use to go daily between Kalimpong and Rishop.

Had an awesome experience... Staff behaviour was too nice... specifically Saraf bhaiya...
We had an stay here, In our take this is the best homestay one could find. Reason being their spacious property with proper parking,wide range of menu, reasonable price whereas complimenting with immersive panaromic Kanchenjunga view..
And the hospitality,food,service, behaviour of them was best of the best..
Special care was taken by SAFAR bhai...
Lastly... After experiencing many stays.. I would just suggest to blindly go for this homestay and have a great experience.. ❤️
I don't want to give any star bcz off the staff behaviour, We visited many off homestay with kanchenjunga view but they r so polite and well maintained, I think behaviour is a main thing in every place we visited, and rate also high as per they served,
Totally unprofessional behaviour. They reacted very rude. Rooms and clothes are not properly cleaned. I have facing itching issues for that.
