Me and my friends stayed there for 3 nights, the home owner was very cooperative and Umesh uncle who was taking care of us was also very sweet to us. The location is almost 30mins away from mall road ( walking distance) we used the google maps to reach, the exact location is there in google, it is near loretto school, mind you it is a hilly road journsy is not very easy by walking. Drinking water was complimentary and provided in sealed bottles in a large amount. There is 1 strict rule that is no extreme noises afrer 10pm, so if you are going there with your friends please make sure you are not breaking it or else you will recieve warning. And the geyser works totally fine it just takes 25 mins to start. Would definitely visit again

I had a wonderful stay at this homestay in Darjeeling. The place is equipped with all the necessary facilities, making the experience very comfortable and relaxing. The view from the homestay is absolutely stunning, and the overall vibe is peaceful and refreshing perfect for anyone looking to unwind in the hills. One of the things I loved the most was the beautiful wooden construction of the home, which added a cozy and authentic charm to the stay. The host Pranim was extremely helpful and supportive throughout our visit, always making sure we were comfortable. A special thanks to Umesh Bhaiya he is truly a wonderful person. His kindness and helpful nature made our trip even more memorable. He guided us a lot and ensured we had a great experience exploring the area.Highly recommended for anyone visiting Darjeeling.

I would say it was an average experience at the homestay in terms of the spending we did for our stay out there. The view from the homestay and the welcoming nature of co-host of the property was few of the things that stood really good and memorable. However, if I have to talk about the basic amenities like water for bathing and washing as well as drinking water, the service was really poor. The water filter was non-functional when we visited so we had to buy water bottles and 5 litre containers. Also there was a huge problem with water availability in washrooms and kitchen. We faced lot of difficulties in bathing and doing other daily chores as water availability was a major issue. Geyser was also not working well and the co-host had to look into it every now and then. Finally I would like to thank the co-host Akriti, for her continued support and service throughout our stay. Without her help and commitment the stay would have been much worser.
