Gyalchen Homestay in Rangaroon is nestled in the beautiful Rangaroon Tea Garden, offering stunning views of Mt. Kanchenjunga and the surrounding tea estates right from the property — such a peaceful setting to wake up to every morning.  The rooms are comfortable and clean, with attached bathrooms, and the owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The homestay felt like a real home away from home, and the tea garden atmosphere made the whole stay feel very authentic and relaxing. Foods were very tasty and delicious. You can also arrange BBQ. It is a small property with just a few rooms. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic, and authentic stay in Rangaroon!

Very bad experience ... Our stay was totally very bad ... Owner of the homestay was very rude and the food was totally tasteless unhygienic g Food .. Inside the food their was lots of hair and pieces of soap ...... The people was very rudely with us ... I request to you all plz don't stay around this property it was very unsave place ..... If you visit this place first think and stay carefully ...we lost here our expensive ornaments ........ And plz Avoid vecale coz during night time their people got puncer your vechele... I share my bad experience here .... Plz don't book around this property..

Very nice place to stay at Rangaroon. owner is very polite very Cooperative. You feel like stay at your own home. The food they served was very ttasty and delicious. You can also aarrange BBQ, and enjoy your evening at lap of mountain. You can see Kanchanjangha by sseating on the balcony and also your room.

Best homestay at Rangaroon. The location gives you feeling of staying within the tea estate, with mesmerising view of the surrounding from balcony and rooms also. At night, the view of darjeeling city just in front is amazing. The owner and his family is very warm and hospitable. Making the staying even more comfortable and memorable. The food prepared by the wife of the owner is so delicious.. my seven year old child also enjoyed the food.. if get a chance would love to go there again.. its that much serene..

first of all, speaking of the service, the owner and his family managing the homestay is extremely kind and gentle, and really friendly must i add. second, the food is healthy and delicious, nor too spicy and can be consumed by everyone, even the ones with health problems. the space they provide us to stay is very hygienic, well maintained and REALLY beautiful, both the interior and the exterior. and lastly, the scenery. you can view so much just by stepping outside your room and strolling across the balcony. and you can go roam around, enjoy your free time enjoying nature just as you want. so zero reasons to complain it is. AND i forgot to add,you can also cook your own food and try out things if you want,just ask them anytime so more plus points. i don't normally recommend things to people but this homestay is a must try, must come. i hope i could provide useful info in this review of mine :>
