The cook, Biren bhaiya truly has magic in his hands, whose exceptional culinary skills --- that makes even the most ordinary cuisine extremely extraordinary in taste --- would keep you licking your fingers. Hospitality : Apart from the caring and warm behaviour you will experience from the host, you wouldn't need to be worried about the basic essentials like running hot water, toiletries etc. which are all inclusive in the quoted tariff; no hidden extra charges at all. Biren bhaiya's wife Meena bahen is also there to attend you always with a smiling face. Location : At this literally "off-beat" place, you will feel blessed with an appealing scenic view in a calm and quiet surrounding "far from the madding crowd" amidst peaceful silence. Yet, you would be at just 18 minute's drive (7.9 Km) away from the Lava Bazar and Lava Monastery. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this serene homestay to everyone looking for a nice, friendly and secluded escapade from your daily hecticness. This place would certainly rejuvenate you for a while.

Stayed here for 3 nights i.e from 13 th to 15 th June,2026 , first I would like to say that the location of this place superb and the ambience is awesome.As far as food is concerned it is superbly tasty and wholesome and being served with professional approach.

A visit to North Bengal once a year has been a tradition ever since the travel bug bit us, and this summer holiday was no exception. We normally prefer offbeat locations in the mountains to enjoy the solitude. Tulingo-Adarsh Homestay at Tindhurey not only served our purpose but went way beyond our expectations, thanks to Mr. Sourav for his hospitality and guidance! The homestay itself is a pretty little roadside property with cozy rooms and verandas beautifully decorated with seasonal flowers. Fresh food is served as per the package, as well as on-demand. As for the location, it is exceptionally versatile; whichever direction you choose to explore, you discover beauty that touches your soul and creates lifelong memories. Whether it was exploring the gorgeous Samabiyong Tea Estate on a bright, sunny day, sitting at its edge on a full moon night, walking through the zigzag hilly roads to reach a pine forest, or embarking on an early morning bird-watching trail—Tindhurey provided everything that exhausted city souls desperately need. Additionally, Mr. Saha's hospitality is well worth a mention, and his homestay is truly the best place for nature lovers.

Serene environment with lovely tea gardens and variety of flora that heals your soul. The hospitality(catering to culinary demands of senior citizen, 12 year old, and bunch of millennials alike) and guidance (yes Saurav Da guided us a lot about exploring) was exemplary addition. If you wish to explore calm environment away from the daily commotion, this place is highly recommended. Among the unexpected perks, there were bird watching, deer, quite villages with variety of trees and flowers. However, the visit to the moonlit tea garden on a full moon night was certainly a core memory to cherish for decades to come. এক কথায় অনবদ্য। মনের শান্তির সাথে অপূর্ব খাওয়া, পায়ে হেঁটে অসাধারণ জায়গায় ঘুরে বেড়ানো.... তার সাথে উপরি পাওনা সৌরভ দার আন্তরিক ব্যবহার।

গরমের ছুটিতে ঠিক করেছিলাম দার্জিলিং, কার্শিয়াং বা কালিম্পংয়ের আশেপাশে কোথাও ঘুরতে যাব। তবে শর্ত একটাই—জায়গাটা হতে হবে একেবারে offbeat, যেখানে peak season-এর tourist rush-এর কোনো বালাই থাকবে না। সেই সময় আমার স্ত্রী খুঁজে বের করল TULINGO ADARSH HOMESTAY, TINDHUREY-এর সন্ধান। Homestay Owner সৌরভ দার সঙ্গে কথা বলতেই উনি বললেন, "আপনারা চলে আসুন, বাকিটা আমি দেখে নেব।" ব্যস, শুরু হয়ে গেল আমাদের Tatkal Ticket Booking-এর লড়াই। আমরা ৩ জন সকালের Sleeper-এ টিকিট পেলাম, আর বাকি ৫ জন পেল রাতের 3AC। প্রথমবারের মতো রাত ৮টায় New Jalpaiguri থেকে transfer নিলাম, সেটার ব্যবস্থাও করে দিয়েছিলেন সৌরভ দা। রাত প্রায় ১০:৪৫ নাগাদ আমরা তিনজন পৌঁছে গেলাম TULINGO ADARSH HOMESTAY তে। TULINGO-র প্রতিটি room অত্যন্ত সুন্দর ও যত্নের সঙ্গে সাজানো। প্রয়োজনীয় সমস্ত amenities-ই রয়েছে। Dining area-টিও বেশ ছিমছাম এবং রুচিশীল। চারপাশে সারি সারি গোলাপ গাছ, সঙ্গে কয়েকটি মাঝারি পাইন গাছ পরিবেশটাকে আরও মনোরম করে তুলেছে। Homestay-এর বাকি দুই staff-এর ব্যবহারও অত্যন্ত আন্তরিক। সুস্বাদু ও স্বাস্থ্যকর রান্নাবান্নায় তাঁরা যথেষ্ট দক্ষ। আর bonus হিসেবে ছিল সৌরভ দার সঙ্গে প্রাণখোলা আড্ডা—তাঁর rock climbing ও trekking-এর নানা অভিজ্ঞতার গল্প শুনে সময় কেটে যেত অজান্তেই। আশেপাশে কোথায় কীভাবে ঘুরতে হবে, কোন সময় গেলে সবচেয়ে ভালো লাগবে—সব পরামর্শই দিয়েছিলেন তিনি। TINDHUREY জায়গাটা সত্যিই অপূর্ব সুন্দর। বলতে গেলে, আমরা তিনটি দিন জায়গাটাকে যেন "গায়ে মেখে" ঘুরেছি। Homestay-এর ঠিক পিছনেই রয়েছে একটি পাহাড়ি ফুলগাছের nursery, যেখানে নানা প্রজাতির lily, rose, succulent এবং orchid-এর সমারোহ। তার পাশ দিয়েই নেমে গেছে একটি পাহাড়ি পথ, যার আঁকেবাঁকে সারি সারি ছোট ছোট pine গাছ। Homestay থেকে বেরিয়ে উপরের দিকে একটি সুন্দর রাস্তা চলে গেছে। কিছুটা এগোলেই পড়বে Samabeong Tea Estate-এর একটি gate। সেই gate দিয়ে ঢুকে পুরো tea estate ঘুরে অন্য gate দিয়ে বেরিয়ে আসতে অনায়াসেই ২–৩ ঘণ্টা লেগে যেতে পারে। কারণ Samabeong Tea Estate-এর প্রতিটি বাঁকেই লুকিয়ে আছে একেকটি নয়নাভিরাম দৃশ্য—ঢাল বেয়ে নেমে যাওয়া সারি সারি চা গাছ, চারপাশে পাহাড়, পাহাড়ের গায়ে ছড়িয়ে থাকা ছোট ছোট জনপদ, আর দূরে দেখা যায় Lava শহরটিও। Homestay থেকে ডানদিকের আঁকাবাঁকা পথ ধরে প্রায় ২–২.৫ কিলোমিটার trek করলেই শোনা যায় অসংখ্য পাখির ডাক এবং দেখা মেলে নানা প্রজাতির পাখির। Bird watching-এর জন্য দামি সরঞ্জাম নিয়ে আসা কয়েকজন photographer-কেও সেখানে দেখেছি। আবার Homestay থেকে বাঁদিকে কিছুটা এগোলেই রয়েছে Panchayat Office। তার সামনে দিয়ে সোজা এগোলেই পৌঁছে যাওয়া যায় Samabeong Tea Estate-এর দ্বিতীয় gate-এ। আর Panchayat Office-এর সামনে থেকে নেমে যাওয়া আঁকাবাঁকা পথ ধরে প্রায় ৩ কিলোমিটার হাঁটলেই পৌঁছে যাবেন Geet Khola নদীর ধারে। এই পথটিও অসম্ভব সুন্দর—চা বাগান, নানা রকম গাছপালা, ছবির মতো সাজানো বাড়ি, আর বাড়ির সামনে থোকা থোকা গোলাপ ও রঙিন lily-র সমারোহ। TINDHUREY-তে থেকেই আমরা Lava Monastery, Changey Falls, Nokdara Lake, Neora Valley National Park, Gumbadara Monastery এবং Git Dubling View Point ঘুরে দেখেছি। সমস্ত ব্যবস্থাই করে দিয়েছিলেন সৌরভ দা। তাঁরই পরামর্শে এক জ্যোৎস্না রাতে আমরা Samabeong Tea Estate দেখতে গিয়েছিলাম। সত্যি বলতে কী, জীবনে এর আগে এমন অভিজ্ঞতা কখনও হয়নি। সেই অনুভূতি ভাষায় প্রকাশ করা প্রায় অসম্ভব। ৩ দিন ৪ রাত TULINGO ADARSH HOMESTAY, TINDHUREY-এ কাটানোর পরও মনে হয়েছে, অনেক কিছুই দেখা বাকি রয়ে গেল। সৌরভ দা এবং তাঁর সহযোগীদের জন্য রইল অনেক ভালোবাসা ও আন্তরিক শুভেচ্ছা। TULINGO-তে আমরা বাড়ির মতোই থেকেছি। ভবিষ্যতেও ঠিক একইরকম আন্তরিকতা ও ভালোবাসার টানে আবার সেখানে ফিরে যেতে চাই।

শহুরে ব্যস্ত জীবন থেকে ছুটি নিয়ে, পিক সিসনের ভীড়ভাট্টা এড়িয়ে নিজের মধ্যে নিজেকে খুঁজে পেতে আসতে হবে TULINGO, TINDHUREY। কয়েক পা হাঁটা পথেই সামাবিয়ঙ্গ টি এস্টেট। যেখানে মেঘে মাখামাখি হয়ে উপভোগ করতে পারবেন 360৹ নয়নাভিরাম সবুজ পাহাড়। কানে ভেসে আসবে মনাস্ট্রির "ওম মনিপদ্মে হুম"। ফরেস্ট ট্রেইল রোমাঞ্চিত করবে আপনার মন, সাথে চোখে পড়তে পারে নাম না জানা পাখীর কলতান, দৌড়ে লুকিয়ে পরা হরিণ। আমাদের বাড়তি পাওনা ছিল জোৎস্নামাখা উপত্যকায় বসে পাহাড়ের মৌনতা আর বিশালতার সাথে একাত্ম হওয়া। প্রতিবছরই ছুটে যাই নর্থবেঙ্গল। কিন্তু এবার আমাদের হোস্ট সৌরভ দার তত্বাবধানে এই তিনটি দিন নর্থবেঙ্গল ডায়রী তে আলাদা জায়গা করে নিল। আমার পরিবারের ১২ বছরের সদস্যা থেকে ৬৪ বছরের সদস্যা প্রত্যেকেই নিজেদের মতো উপভোগ করেছেন এই জায়গা। Tulingo এর প্রতিটি ঘরে আছে রুচিশীলতা ও আধুনিকতার মেলবন্ধনের পরিচয়। electric kettle- Gyser সব পেয়ে যাবেন। সাথে পাবেন চার বেলার সুস্বাদু ও স্বাস্থ্যকর খাবার। এখান থেকে ঘুরে আসতে পারেন ছাঙে জলপ্রপাত, লাভা মনাস্ট্রি, দুরপিনদারা, গুমবাদাড়া মনাস্ট্রি, নওকদাড়া লেক, ডাবলিং ভিউপয়েন্ট, ডেওলো, কোলাখাম, ক্যাকটাস নার্সারী ইত্যাদি জায়গা। ব্যবস্থা সৌরভ দা করে দেবেন। Homestay এর স্টাফ থেকে গাড়ীর ড্রাইভার দাদা সবাই খুব আন্তরিক ও দক্ষ হাতে নিজের কাজ পরিচালনা করেন। সৌরভ দা ও Tulingor জন্য অনেক শুভকামনা রইলো।

Cleanliness, decoration, size of rooms; homely delicious food with options; it's serene location amidst tea garden and forest all are.unmatchable. it's owner Sourav da looks after you as a family member for all our trivial needs from keeping a nice unknown mountain flower to your safety, hygiene in everything. Even they arranged my daughter's birthday to make it a lasting memory. He is just a phone call away and he will arrange everything from itinerary to carry to.food everything. But all above is standard what makes.it stand out from others is Sourav da's knowledge about nature , about mountain, hisb personal touch to।।it special for।you in every sense . He will make you discover the beauties of nature which are in no way less than any European scene. The walk at night amidst deep valley, tea garden, forest, rivers , chirping of birds, sound of river - all make it special. The flowers, valley view, mountain view all make it special. So serene yet close to main point as Lava for all convenience. It's really not possible to describe in words unless you experience. Last but not the least , Bijan bhaiya and bhabi who take care of the guests, just you open up and they will make it a home. One more thing. I was missing - it's abode of cloud, and I will really love to come back here again and again.

Beautiful homestay in the serenity of nature. Good hospitality. Simple but delicious food. Rooms are cozy. Some bengali, english and hindi books in each room, is a great surprise to the book lovers. A little hamlet at the backside with some simple, friendly residents win your mind. A few cute doggies will be your sole companion. The simplicity of the place makes it unique. Besides, you can arrange short trips to visit lava, rishop, lolegaon, kalimpong, jhandi, kolakham, chhange falls, ramdhura, neora valley reserve forest etc from here. So, if you love nature and quietness, let your next visit be at Tulingo Adarsh Homestay.

Our stay at Tulingo with my parents and family was very comfortable, cozy. It's an absolutely serene atmosphere clubbed with the beautiful mountains, greenery! Tea gardens at walking distance. The morning was mesmerizing, chirping of birds, wild flowers blooming ... Warm hospitality of Mr Saurav was another highlight. Another special thing which attracted my interest was the books kept at every room was an additional treat for the book lovers. Beautiful place to stay, relax and refresh your soul! 🍀✌🏻
