We have stayed at summit gate for 3 days .i really like their rooms food specially their staff they were nice. Thanks bhumika for welcoming us.

I was truly let down by my recent stay at the hotel. 😤 They promote themselves as five-star, but the rooms were substandard, and the service was barely adequate. 👎 I found the location inconvenient. This establishment barely merits three stars. 🏨

I stayed at your property for two days, and my experience was truly wonderful. Thank you for upgrading my room from the Deluxe category to the Premium category. The room was excellent, and the overall service provided throughout my stay was exceptional. I would also like to extend my special appreciation to Bhumika from the Front Office team. Her warm hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail made our stay extremely comfortable and memorable. Thank you once again for the outstanding experience. Such an wonderful stay, the staffs were so humble and so gentle the whole stay. Loved how bhumika and sejal took care of our experience throughout the stay. Would recommend.

Scenic view from hotel. Rooms were clean, food was exquisite. And 5* due to miss bhumika who expertise in hospitality and due to her we had hassle free check-in/out.

I visited with family and friends between 4/7/2026 to 8/7/2026. We booked 3 rooms. We booked 3 premium rooms with mountain view and balcony… 2 rooms (601 & 603) had bad stingy smell in bathroom and when we asked house keeping to correct or change room… one female reception manager on 6/7/2026 @ 7 pm was so rude that she cant change room on same floor as vacant room are already booked by upcoming guest and she was so adamant that she argued that guest already booked 604 on request which was actually not true… my request to the front staff is that we are tourist, we come here for holiday not for listing you.. On the same day, when we asked for complimentary bottle to placed in our room, which was mistakenly not placed by house keeping staff, the same front staff (female) was reacted so rudely that we asked her for her property. As you are in hospitality industry you should be polite and humble for any reaction…when we discussed all things with manager (MR NIshant), he swiftly handles all matters… thanks mr nishant for your kind gesture…. This property is very far from mall road , 25 min walkable distance which is not feasible with kids…and being a 4-5 star property, they are not providing a shuttle also…( free or charging bases)… 1. Room service is excellent 2. Food is awesome 3. Kitchen staff very cooperative 4. Kids friendly in sense of fooding…but no play area for kids… 5. Front desk staff mr nishant did an excellent job for helping us whether local travelling or cab help… 6. Property is small not big.. Things they needs to improve or some action.. 1. They should provide shuttle service to mall road and train station ( complimentary or chargeable) If not, one should not stay here, no benefit… on same price you get good hotel on mall road like planters… 2. Front staff should be polite and good listener… 3. Room no 601 & 603 might need sanitary work.. 4. Wifi is oki oki…

This hotel easily ranks as one of the top places to stay in Darjeeling. The level of hospitality here is something you rarely find these other days. The staff completely blew us away with their customer service. They were kind enough to upgrade our room right at the start, which set an amazing tone for the trip. On top of that, the cleanliness is 10/10—the rooms, the amenities, and the entire property were absolutely spotless. The highlight for us was how attentive they are to guest safety. While we were out exploring the town late at night, the reception desk actually reached out to check on us and ensure we made it back safely. It’s those small, thoughtful details that show they genuinely care about their guests, not just the bookings. Outstanding service all around. I highly recommend booking a stay here if you want a flawless, worry-free trip to Darjeeling.

Hands down one of the absolute best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! If you’re coming to Darjeeling, this is the place to stay. A few things that made our stay unforgettable: Next-Level Customer Care: The staff doesn’t just provide a service; they genuinely care. While we were out exploring the town at night, they actually called us to check in, ensure our safety, and make sure we got back to the property safely. Incredible peace of mind! Surprise Upgrade: They went above and beyond by upgrading our room, which was a fantastic touch. Spotless Property: Clean rooms, clean staff, clean everything. The entire place is immaculate. The hospitality here is unmatched. Huge shoutout to the incredible team—we will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

The hotel have a jacuzzi but doesn't work properly,The staff is jnaware of how to operate. Need to work upon this

Service to the room was poor. Water ran out in the bathroom. The bathroom curtains were very dirty.

We paid too much through a site for a very bad room and hotel. It is not 10 percent as shown in pictures on internet. Very far from Mall Road. No taxi service available. Food was also not good. Bad experience. The owner shd compensate me.

Overview I would not recommend staying at The West Gate by Summit hotel in Darjeeling based on my experience. Other properties in a similar price range may offer a more comfortable stay. I booked Summit Montana, and upon checking in with my family, I was disappointed with the overall condition of the property. The hotel appeared to have maintenance and cleanliness issues. After entering the room, we were asked to wait for towels for almost 2 hours. The room had an unpleasant smell, and the washroom had stains on the washbasin and toilet seat. After discussing the concerns with the staff for some time, they offered us an upgrade to their premium property, The West Gate Posada by Summit. Unfortunately, the overall experience at the upgraded property was also below expectations. We entered the hotel at 3:45 PM, and the available food options at that time were limited to snacks such as tea, samosas, and bhelpuri. After multiple requests, they eventually served us lunch. The hotel staff was supportive and polite, but the hotel administration and overall service processes need significant improvement. The main issues with staying at The West Gate by Summit: 1-They do not provide any food or service after 10:30 PM. They cannot even warm up your food after that time. 2-The property, which is marketed as a 4-star premium hotel, offers very very limited options for breakfast. 3- After breakfast hours, you cannot order items like pasta, noodles, or other food. You have to wait until lunch time. 4-The property is located on a narrow one-way Gandhi Road, so taxis cannot reach the hotel entrance. Guests have to walk down for 10–15 minutes to get a taxi. 5-Despite charging a premium price, the rooms do not have air conditioning or a refrigerator. Final Verdict I would never recommend this property, especially for travellers with children or senior citizens, due to the service limitations and accessibility concerns.

Our stay at summit west gate was absolutely wonderful. We have stay there for 2 nights . Everything was good 😀 Specially the staff they are very trained well Bhumika Sejal Richa and nishat they were very nice to us
